May I ask who the insurer is as I've never heard of that being a stipulation before?

I've just checked my car as I didn't think it acted the same as above. It turns out I was correct too. If I come to a stop with the autohold on then putting the gearbox into neutral causes the brake to be released and the car to roll. Maybe others can check their car's operation?

That's still true for manual cars. Never a day goes by without me seeing cars 'creeping' forward at traffic lights.

I don't have the same car bit will check this out as I don't think mine has it. Regarding the lifting off coasting scenario, I find that only happens if the engine wasn't under load at that instant. For example going uphill wouldn't activate it but travelling on the level would.

You have italics turned on! Some of the later cars have had that 'feature' removed.

I had a camera fitted to my 2013 Tiguan and remember that there were additional holding clips a few inches under the centre of the rear screen. The person doing this (who is a member on here) had a suitably long tool () to get the extra distance to unclip the rogue fixings.

It's never a bad event when wine & canapés are provided - says Mrs john999boy. An extremely good looking car - maybe Tesla Model S size with some interesting and some not so practical features. I doubt very much that it will be launched with 22" centre lock wheels but let's not let that spoil the look!
