  1. Hello, It means no network available.
  2. Hi, The link doesn't work. Can you send it back?
  3. I'm in love with mine, especially since the Gremlins left with the 1985.
  4. Mid-life model refresh. Internal changes (e.g. large 13‘ screen replacing the 10’ screen in the high-end version) and subtle tweaks to the front and rear.
  5. Yes, that is possible. If the changes are not reported to the map creator, they will be taken into account within a few months. But months can go by before the information reaches them.
  6. You can update the car manually, the procedure to follow is pinned in the list of topics.
  7. It's the 4 cyl. 2,0 l/110 kW (4V) TDI CR.
  8. Hello, After driving thousands of kilometres in a variety of conditions, I think I've found the best fuel consumption/speed ratio with my Octavia 4 TDI 150 DSG. On a journey of over 450 kilometres (1/5 road, 4/5 motorway, about 1/4 of the motorway in mountainous areas), I achieve my best fuel consumption by driving at 120 km/h (74 mph) rather than 130 km/h (81 mph). The score on the on-board computer fluctuates between 3.9 and 4 l/100 km (±71 mpg), so I think you have to add 0.3 l/100 in real terms. My best fuel consumption is 3.7 l/100 km (76 mpg - on-board computer) over 400 kilometres on almost flat terrain, on a road with a speed limit between 80 km/h and 110 km/h. What are your best fuel consumption figures with this engine?
  9. You can update directly to version 1941 by following the advice in the pinned topic at the top of the forum. I did it a few months ago, and it changed a lot of things (system speed, automatic headlights, CarPlay issues, etc.). With a bit of luck, the 1985 version will arrive shortly via OTA. Otherwise, the procedure must be repeated by downloading the file in the topic about the 1985 version.
  10. As for radio logos, only FM stations are updated with USB. DAB stations are never updated; they are updated by the broadcasting station. Here in France, they do the bare minimum. We often only get the name of the radio station, whereas in Germany there is much more information (artist and title, etc.).
  11. Voice recognition had become so sensitive in 1985 that it would activate all the time without being asked. I had to disable it because it was so annoying.
  12. Maps version 25.7 today.
  13. Clearly, my topic is attracting attention, but it's also causing concern. For the separator, I found the reference number : 3V0860378. It costs around €150 new on the Skoda Parts website. Was it supplied as standard with your Octavia if you purchased it with a variable floor?
  14. Hello After ordering the summary of my vehicle on the advice of @JamesK , I noticed that there are codes for equipment that I clearly do not have. My car had two previous owners (2020, I bought it last year), and some items were missing when I purchased it (umbrella, ice scraper, etc.). Could you tell me which parts correspond to the PKE and 3N3 manufacturing codes? It seems that the metal bar separating the boot and its handles have disappeared. Do you have their references so that I can try to find them second-hand? Thank you very much.
  15. In fact, it downloads the files to be put on a USB stick. Everything is clearly explained in the thread I posted. As mentioned above, try using a 18xx version before flashing the infotainment system to 1941.
  16. Perhaps an update via USB could improve things. The thread explaining how to do this is pinned at the top of the ‘Octavia’ topics. I did this two months ago; my Octavia was running 1810. I upgraded to 1941 and then 1985. This resolved many issues, particularly the infotainment system, which was very slow.
  17. Hello, Try this link https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/522574-update-to-version-1969/#findComment-5842221 Same procedure as on the video :
  18. Yes, I'm looking for these ones, with grey stitching.
  19. Quick question: what version of infotainment do you have?
  20. Hi, Traffication is different from live traffic updates. The traffic updates come with the maps subscription.
  21. Hello, You have a bit of an answer here : https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/523730-automatic-headlight-adjustment-for-driving-in-mainland-europe/
  22. You can use an USB-A key with adaptor, it works fine.
  23. Nice! I had a question about this problem a few weeks ago. Another 9,400 km before the next service, so we'll be good for October/November.
  24. Hello, Nothing received here.
  25. Thanks! I don't know if it's the good part for black leather / gray stitching : https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5e3885901kvkt-headrest-skoda-51331.html
