Fuel mapping issue??
If the additional work to an Oil & Inspection service at 43,559 miles is a Cabin / Pollen filter likely the Spark Plugs were not changed. They are additional work at it is a Full Service History, so should say what is done. Was the Brake fluid changed at 3 years or even @ 4 years?

Fuel mapping issue??
The Full Service History is great, so it should show if the Manufacturers Service Guidelines, Scheduled / Advised servicing was done and the plugs changed at 40,000 miles / 4 years. That is the beauty of a FSH, it shows what is not done as well as what was. Maybe the Air filter needs looked at, as they might have followed the ridiculous schedule of @ 6 years / 60,000 miles and never checked it.

Fuel mapping issue??
How many miles has it done, and is there a service history and a record of the spark plugs having been replaced? When?

mpg
It will make quite a bit of difference compared to regions in the UK and Summer / Winter and E10 95 ron or E5 97/99. Temperatures of 20-30*oC being something there is some of the time. Road surfaces being another thing that can be different. Best really to brim a tank and maybe see how many miles / km a car can go per litre in the likes of a city or out of. Short trips in cold weather conditions make a big difference. Then longer trips and not too hot weather might be more efficient in really quite warm weather.

mpg
@fabiamk4man For clarity it is best to say that that is in the weather conditions / climate you have in Greece.

Hello, new member
Welcome. Plenty threads on All Season / 3PMSF tyres in the tyre section if that is all you need rather than Winter / Snow tyres.

the truth about electric cars
Maybe have lower priced Skoda & Seat models with more KISS stuff & keep the Style over Function for VW & Audi.

Fifteen years ... and still here. But changes may well be afoot.
Briskoda Cars for sale might be a good place to advertise a Yeti.

Oil consuption on DTUA engine
Did you never check the oil from collecting after the service or in the 4,000 miles? It might well have come back to you low. 0.5 litres of oil added really meant the level was pretty low since you had a Warning Light / Yellow Oil can. If you had added no oil but had opened the bonnet the light would go out anyway for 62 miles / 100km. Best get the oil ap to the top of the Cross Hatch when the engine at operating temp and not run maybe 1 litre less than capacity.

the truth about electric cars
A Sandero is not that cheap now, and a Sandero Stepway is not. I have been looking at Petrol Automatics, new or nearly new,. They are better in and out for me than a Clio. It is a car to replace the Suzuki SX4 i want. Reliable petrol automatic, economic. It might be a Suzuki Swift i get.

the truth about electric cars
Insurance prices of EV,s are only going one way. The future might be bright but it is not going to be because of the reducing costs of running an EV for those without Home or Work charging. @lol-lol Have you got good prices on your EV,s insurance, social domestic & business use?

the truth about electric cars
It cost me £60 for 350 miles using public charging these past few days. Still £45 pending from BP Pulse for the £22 it coat me at Edinburgh Airport 36 hours ago. 61 pence a kWh. Other tariffs 65 & 70 pence a kWh. Running a Diesel can be much cheaper. 350 miles & 50 mpg, 7 gallons. x £6.60 = £46.20

'The Downside'. was / is having to contract to receive less salary / wages. A different contract signed up. Those that can just get by on what they did or do get Gross / Net, they are the ones that are in the Social Divide of those with not only enough income but more than enough that they do not need to have it into their bank every month.

the truth about electric cars
There are those that have no idea what it is like to be working and earning and just keeping their head above water & nit get in debt. They really need to think on about how people are going to put more towards a pension or income after they stop working or are going to get around.

the truth about electric cars
The Government is doing nothing. They have no money. the population and the companies have money the treasury get. The Bill Payers who do pay are paying to write off the debts of those that got the help during covid and still never paid their Energy Utility bills. PS. Yes the Interconnectors are coming down the east coast taking electricity from the Northern Isles, not the Electricity generated on the Mainland. Best England get on with the Small Modular Nuclear plants. Build baby build. Run the Pylons.
-
the truth about electric cars
^^^ Great get up the pylons then and use that electricity that comes ashore. Less need to bring it from the Cruden Bay / Peterhead the length of Scotland on the highest pylons while those nearest the generation pay the higher tariffs.
-
the truth about electric cars
@lol-lol i believe you are totally wrong on the domestic electricity getting cheaper in any of our lifetimes. It is high time that England was producing enough for it's own usage.

the truth about electric cars
Charger and Charging hubs getting connected to the grid was taking weeks and months and still is and in some cases it is now into years. That is Real World & not just in Scotland. Now there are politicians and others saying Scotland has an over provision of Battery Storage and they want any more being passed for planning and built banned. What a bunch of absolute idiots.
