  1. I’ve a similar car 2.0tdi 150 SE L. On mine it’s visible just outside the right hand ring at about 25 past the hour, It only shows for a short while and then fades out. I don’t use M very often, but this happens every time.
  2. I’ve also experienced a reset on an A3 Audi 2.0 TDI, however that was a 66 plate. The current new motors require some form of intervention, VCDS or OTIS or whatever it’s called, is my belief.
  3. Right, bad and good news. Firstly, I connected via CarPlay (important see later on). I made a few calls sat on the drive. All connected as you’d expect. However I could NOT get any to disconnect. Next printed manual, page 79, almost totally useless apart from reference to the online manual. OK, online manual, agin not the most helpful but initially looked hopeful. Sadly not gave lots of information that might help for conference calls and 2 devices linked to the car. However not one mention of ending a call from the steering wheel. Next, I asked the AI. I gave Make Model month and year of manufacture (Superb SE L 2.0 TDI 150 June 2025). This was the important part of the response (that I haven’t checked as the rain is back in spades). AI Reply: Yes, you can usually end a call using the controls on the steering wheel of your Škoda Superb, but the process depends on your car's specific system and how the call was started. · Ending via the Steering Wheel Controls: This works if the phone is selected on the instrument cluster screen. · Using the Scroll Wheel: Press the right-hand side scroll wheel to answer or end a call. · Using Arrow Buttons: The left/right arrows on the right side can help navigate to the phone screen. · Call Initiated via Android Auto/Apple CarPlay: If you started the call through these systems (like via Google Assistant), you will likely need to use the red "end call" button on the car's touchscreen. · Incoming Calls: You can usually answer these by pressing the right-hand scroll wheel, no matter what's displayed on the dash. Why It Can Be Confusing Your Superb's steering wheel controls are multi-purpose. The phone controls only function when the phone menu is active on the instrument cluster display. If you have another screen (like navigation or trip data) showing, pressing the scroll wheel will just interact with that instead. Tips for Easier Use · You can store favorite contacts in the car's system to make calling from the steering wheel easier. · To consistently end calls from the wheel, make sure the phone screen is selected on the instrument cluster during calls. You can navigate to it using the right-hand arrow or scroll wheel buttons. Hopefully you’ll find this helpfull. I may get around to trying again tomorrow rain, and time permitting without using CarPlay (that seems a bit of a retrograde step to me 🤷‍♂️).
  4. That’s very interesting, I’ve a new Superb Estate SE L 2025 June build. Currently I had been unable to find a control on the wheel to stop/start a call. I find it distracting to need to tap the screen to start stop calls. I’m not with the cat at the moment, I’ll get to check this out in the next hour or so and report back👍🏻
  5. I tried this, however I’d negotiated a heavy discount, the dealership then wouldn’t co-operate saying, the price would revert to sticker price. I just borrowed from elsewhere at a very good rate and paid it off direct from the bank.
  6. I have the same issue on my Superb. My thought on this is that the trough give more structure integrity, allowing for a lighter wheel However I have been wrong before 😎
  7. @travs Sorry about the delay in updating. I totally forgot about these. Placed the order today, it’s about 2 weeks for delivery. I’ll let you know how it goes . Thanks John
  8. I’ve driven VAG vehicles since 1992, the last 3/4 models have had the ABS system and have proven their worth a few times. The Superb hasn’t yet need to alert me 🤞
  9. Interesting, They might have removed the option as: A cost saving measure Or They received many complaints that the lights are too bright Who knows?
  10. I have a June 25 build SE L and this is mine: I have no idea if the lights were this colour when I picked it up. The light around the doors and front were red, I changed them to green. Your interior lights match the dash light, I think that’s the link.
  11. Is there an “option” to tell the car you’ve changed wheel/tyre sizes? Over estimating speed is safer than understand stating I think 🤔
  12. I have tried the DIY version in the past, for both the front and rear screens. For my Daughter BMW 1 series doing about 4K miles a year they lasted about 18 months - decent value. My Grandsons Golf at about 25k a year they lasted less than 12 months. I’m my Passat the rear screen blade lasted only a few months, possible due to the amount of tree debris that affects all my wipers. On the front. They lasted all Summer, but split after a couple of frosts - possible user error in not cleaning the ice away properly. However, I have 1 strip left and it won’t be fitted to the Superb…..
  13. It depends on the roads you’re driving on. Lots of country roads put small pieces of debris onto the windscreen. I travel about 3k of my 10k annual mileage on narrow country roads. It makes a big difference in wiper longevity 😥
  14. Sadly no button in the centre consul. There’s only the manual handbrake there. I found out you can put a shortcut onto the top of the info display. Still to make the change 🤷‍♂️
  15. I agree with @Colin1051 re the quality of the manuals. The version that came with my 2025 Superb is bloody awful to say the least! The online version isn’t much better. No where near the quality of the manual that came with my 67 plate Passat. All these penny pinching ideas detract from the Skoda ethos of Simply Clever 😵‍💫
  16. @SteveTheElder Steve, you must do mostly decent roads. I travel down single track roads almost every day, mud and dirty water in the cold wet weather, dust, twigs and tree sap in winter. My wipers work hard 🤦‍♂️
  17. Bosch Aero Twin. I’ve been using these for years on my Passat before the Superb, I normally get about 18 months from them (or about 15/16K miles) 👍
  18. Interesting….. Are these cast alloy? I was looking at some on line from a company in the Manchester or Leeds area (I think). Apart from receiving glowing reviews, there were a significant of reviews that totally disagreed, with comments like: Very rough casting finish Cracks around the rim and others. Hopefully it’s a different supplier your looking at, and your experience is great. It put me off to be honest, I was considering buying a set for All Season tyres. Sadly SHMBO, has found a different path for the money 😥 I forgot to add. Those wheels look very nice indeed. A great improvement on the Dofeda on my SE L
  19. This is my current software update it was the latest as at mid November for my superb 2.0tdi SE L Wagon. The dealership had updated before pick up as the screen showed updates were available. Hope this is helpful
  20. A bit late to the game……. However my 75 plate Superb SE L 2.0tdi 150, has a physical dipstick (I’m very happy to say).
  21. On my iPad, you just press and hold, to get that and more information 👍👍
  22. Thanks, that sound good going forward, I’m only at 1,500 miles about 2,500 km. Plenty of time to loosen up👍
  23. My mud Flaps (my 4 Superb) do a good job, not quite what I’d hoped, as I drive a few times a week around narrow country roads. The amount of crud on the front door sill is almost nil, still residue from dirty water. The rear doors as you’d expect get a little more than the front, but it’s still very noticeable to be honest. Finally around the rear corners there is significantly less crud built up. Hope that feeds your confidence 👍
  24. Jure, Do you have the interior comfort lights around the dash and doos set to red? If so try changing those the Green, I think that’s what did it for me (I made loads of changes, some I need to reset. Sadly can’t remember what changed the colour from Red to Green. However, I have changed the red light strips to green (chose Škoda Green).
  25. @Stuartie I’d not seen it done that way. Looks a bit easier that who I managed to do it. With hindsight, it’s not switched odd since, so that’s almost 2 weeks and about 350 miles ago. This leads me to believe that it was switched off by the driver (Me)😳 I’ll keep it in mind. This morning whilst waiting to pick up SWMBO, I’d spent a few minutes going through the settings via the info screen, hadn’t noticed that. Sadly I didn’t pick up anything else that I might like to change/try out. Maybe after 6 weeks I have it set as I like it. It’s not my first DSG so I’ve been very happy with the way that works from the beginning. I even remembered that when it switches itself off at traffic lights and junction, a gentle tap fires it up as the lights start to change or traffic clears and away I go with no delay at all.
