  1. lol, no it was a hatch. Totally mint too. Maybe I could go with a mix and match look 🤕
  2. Thank you The difference is Aqua Blue vs Shark Blue. Maybe some changes introduced as part of the green line range or facelift depending when they came in.
  3. This is what they quoted me as the paint colour, but when I compare car pictures they look the same in a different light
  4. @Breezy_Pete are you a master in such areas or is that just the Fabia 1 Forum you excel ?
  5. No it was done by an Indi. It was a very long time ago pre 2008. I think about £300. I suppose cambelt kit would be an idea at the same time, yes
  6. I had something similar on a mk3 golf TDi only when using the car on the motorway did coolant expel from the expansion vessel leaving the tell tale white/pink residue in the area. Once cooled the coolant was low and the low warning came on. New HG resolved issue. I can’t remember what mileage it happened but it had 189k on it when I sold it.
  7. Hoping someone here can help as I have no access to the donor cars chassis number as it’s been crushed FH13HRM donor onto KM11OUV. I believe both are Aqua Blue LF8K-3U paint code, can someone confirm, please
  8. I reckon you need about half that bottle to get towards max. Don’t risk running it low
  9. I used some sticky pads like numberplate ones on mine. They stayed stuck for years however in further sun dropped a little and sat comfortably within the mirror housing.
  10. I was looking for the sticky but there is only one for engine failures with this engines, the OP should do a search for excessive oil consumption, has happened to numerous members on here over the years.
  11. Try using the uk key over a mobile call. Signal could relay and open.
  12. I don’t think it has stop start so just replace it. I would get an 096 type as it will fit perfectly and you get more CCA and AH. Try Advanced Battery Services EBay 4-5 year warranty next day delivery. Or Tanya batteries if you want branded like Exide or Varta.
  13. Is that heavier than others due to 4x4 paraphernalia?
  14. My solid flywheel kit juddered 2005/55 1.9 TDI BKC Octy. It took all the smoothness out of the car. Plenty of people also had good experience
  15. Scan the car with VCDS. The ABS traction and PS lights go on and off due to faulty ABS speed sensor and hub bearing rust. Had mine replaced about 150-160k.
  16. VCDS will tell you which wheel but you may require a hub/bearing as well as wheel sensor
  17. It’s not much to expect a car to not have those faults you have had to deal with and the costs it’s incurred. Perhaps it had a hard past even at 9.5k referring to gearbox/clutch. The other stuff should have lasted longer period. Saving grace no cambelt charge after 5 years old
  18. Is there a particular issue with the 272 is it all from that era or just certain ones?
  19. Plenty breaking on various Facebook groups. Worth joining
  20. Washer bottle this time @TrevorB33?
  21. How is the gear stick when hot side to side floppy or very stiff. Vs when cold. I had this on my Octy 2 removing cables from gearbox proved it was gearbox. I removed and cleaned selector arm pin. Gear change improved. I am sure I wrote a post on it.
  22. I only have a picture no name to share
  23. There was a guy at Skodafest last weekend displaying his offerings. Pretty sure there are some pictures on Facebook against the Skoda Owners club pages
