  1. Exhaust or exhaust shield rattling ?
  2. We do have the price of the 17k at the end of the advert currently @Gaz maybe needs a larger font. Hoping to help your sale @redphil
  3. Nice car, prospective purchasers might be assisted with more info such as below. Could you add more details engine size. BHP. Mileage. Manual or DSG Standard SPEC I.E. SEL Elegance etc Additional extras on top of standard Number of owners ?
  4. Worth every penny. Taken you everywhere and more besides
  5. You made an Autocar article Ryan so I would say it’s a collectors car, 19th page. It’s a Vectra nuff said. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/cars/reviews/top-used-cars-for-less-than-10-000/ss-AA1dlccY?ocid=NL_ENGB_A1_00010101_1_1&cvid=21d3803f439d4d179a55206cd094b77c&ei=34#image=19
  6. If everything in life was as reliable as a Skoda, when it’s running ok 😂
  7. Apologies if the wrong thread mods please move. As an S2 owner I have not been on this newer area of forum. https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/skoda/superb/361856/new-hot-skoda-superb-vrs-flagship-set-join-range-first-time
  8. Shame sounded like a nice motor. Hope the new one is just as Superb.
  9. Is your Superb up for sale or part chopped for the new steed ?
  10. I ran the engine with the expansion cap off. Been a while dont remember how long to run for.
  11. Nope. My lad caught it on our way home from town today shopping, at some traffic lights.
  12. £20-30 RFL sweetens the deal also for the Leon petrol TSI. The TDIs are into the early £200’s some of them, we are certainly paying the price keeping them going.
  13. I know it’s not a Skoda but joining in with others after my recent Octy post. Our Leon has just clocked 60k. Managed to catch it today been waiting…..
  14. I can vouch for a late 2013 1.2TSI 105BHP Leon 5 door hatch, we got the SE Tech. Has Nav. iPod/phone/USB connection. Think SD card too. LED front and rear lights. Nice looking motor. 6 Speed manual. Proper handbrake. Arm rest jumbo box. Cruise control. Nice maxidot type computer and more on stereo. MF Steering Wheel. All important cam belt not chain engine, was a factor for me. On a run can do 50MPG or more, around town can vary say 35-40, but I can eeek 45-50 out of it. Being a petrol not much torque like the diesels, so you need to rev high to get decent poke. But it’s no slouch. 2 adults and 2 teens has started to feel a little underpowered sometimes. I would get the 1.4 125bhp FR next looks the part and some more horses. It’s our only ULEZ car for Bham and London. All 3 of mine are still diesels. Good luck with your search.
  15. Sorry to hear about the accident. Good to hear you are okay. Do you not want to replace it with another? Hard to find a decent vRS, depending on what you are looking for and willing to pay. There is a red one for sale on here if it floats your boat?
  16. Nice meeting you and talking Clive. Smooth transaction. Happy motoring and seasons greetings.
  17. Good deal. What’s your postcode in Cov, interested if can meet tomorrow, will be passing on the way home from the south. Thanks G
  18. Is that the each price or the whole batch of products ?
  19. I would have said DSG stat again. But like you only changed mine once when the temperature needle went to 90 and back down again or indeed never reached 90
  20. Does the car have stop start fitted, was thinking the car battery should have been updated into the computer with correct software/tool ?
  21. I can’t always catch the big number on the dot missed this one today on my old steed the 2005/55 MK2 Octy 1.9 TDI Elegance. Hardly does many miles now. I can confess to at least 231K of them private miles in my ownership since 2009
  22. This is the wheels and tyres sales thread. Good place for it too ?
  23. Don’t forget the price @NZ100
  24. Do a search on here plenty of people written about it. You can repair just those wires and others. Buy a kit from eBay or have the whole loom replaced.
  25. Bargain for someone The seats are clean and no wear from what I can see on bolsters
