Thinking of buying a small Skoda
I would suggest looking at the Fabia, it's of a very similar size to your Clio.

Latest software update
I suppose it depends on your definition of 'major changes' - a change to the engine ECU SW or gearbox ECU SW or front radar ECU SW (amongst others) will have IMHO a 'major change' in the behaviour of the car but none of those will be reported in the infotainment SW version.

Latest software update
I've posted that several times on here, but people continue to post the infotainment software version number - seemingly without understanding/caring that their car has maybe 30+ different processor controlled modules all with their own software versions that are not reported in the infotainment system. You can take a horse to water but you cannot make it drink ðŸ˜

DSG gearbox emergency mode
Translation - no fault codes appeared on ODIS so we don't know what to do.

Wireless Carplay not working
Sounds like the coding is now being set wrong in the factory as so many recent build cars have WiFi disabled and missing from the menu?

Adaptive Cruise Control bug
Most media companies are dependent on the advertising revenue from car manufacturers, so they have to be "careful" in their criticism of cars on test. CAR magazine used to be (no longer a subscriber so cannot comment on current situation) more concerned about accurate writing and have lost advertising contracts because of it.

Delivery times?
Unless you live in Japan and want a Land Cruiser when the wait is 4 YEARS https://www.carscoops.com/2022/01/toyota-confirms-there-is-a-four-year-wait-list-for-the-land-cruiser-in-japan/

Start Stop not working
Not sure if this is relevant - wasn't there a spate of reports on here in the last couple of years of a faulty batch of Moll batteries that were replaced under warranty?
-
Adaptive Cruise Control bug
At least it was honest

Upgrade MFSW
Have you made any coding changes with e.g VCDS or OBD11 to try to enable the CC?

Skoda production?
Yes, in fact the longest production delays on the Octavia 4 are on the hybrids, the latest info on the Octavia 4 forum here is that hybrids have an estimated production delay of 18 MONTHS - longer than any of the ICE versions.

Adaptive Cruise Control bug
Been mentioned several times in this forum, seems that the car randomly thinks it's in a country where they drive on the right so it thinks you're trying to undertake not overtake.

DAB has not worked properly since I brought the car from new 2018
The switch mode voltage regulator in some of those can generate so much interference (radiated as well as conducted which is why the ferrite cores don't always cure the problem) that it completely drowns out the DAB signal.

personalised wing mirror positions
You need electric seats plus the memory option not just electric seats.

Skoda Octavia 3 Owners register
There have been many posts on here asking about making the 12V sockets ignition switched and the outcome seems to be that the 2 positions for SC40 are wired in non-UK cars but on UK cars the ignition switched position is not wired at the factory. So the solution seems to be a piggyback fuse into a switch ignition position with SC40 removed and the flying lead plugged into the SC40 outlet side.

Skoda Octavia 3 Owners register
The same socket as you.

Skoda Octavia 3 Owners register
That's not my experience with my 1.4TSI Octavia 3, after an overnight stop with a cool box connected the BMS had turned off the cool box but the car unlocked and started with no problem - with an original factory fitted battery that then was 3 years old.

All VW Group vehicles have an always on cigarette lighter - great when you have a cool box which you want to keep cool (the Battery Management System will turn it off if the battery voltage gets too low). BTW I hate that my Toyota has a cigarette lighter that turns off with the ignition! The BOOT 'unlock' button opens the BOOT but doesn't unlock it. It only opens the boot not the car for security (anti hijack) reasons. There is a VCDS/OBDEleven tweak that disables the boot relocking for IIRC about 30 seconds giving time to retrieve keys that have been placed in the boot

EV real world range and cost to charge
Recycling doesn't recover 100% so some 'new oil' is still needed. Many (most?) of the existing sites are nearing the end of their economic life so, given the long lead time between exploration and production, exploration of new sites needs to be going ahead now.
-
EV real world range and cost to charge
Someone should tell that to all the protesters who are trying to stop all new oil exploration.

EV real world range and cost to charge
But instead of the ICE there are more complex electronics plus the traction battery and it's cooling/heating systems - all of which require currently scarce (and hence expensive) skills to diagnose and repair. Don't forget too that there are still the same basic mechanics of suspension, wheel bearings, steering system, etc. to maintain as well as the same bodywork issues. P.S. We'll still need crude oil to create the lubricants (oil and grease) for the bearings on EVs so EVs will not alleviate the need for drilling (even synthetic oils are actually remade from cracked components of crude oil).

Software
IIRC another Octavia 4 owner has reported the same problem on that stretch of the M3 -sounds like a GPS problem in the software thinking that stretch of the M3 is in Europe not the UK?

DIRECT TPMS Question - Octavia Mk4
@AviationNutHave you checked the tyres for bulges, cracks, etc on both outside and inside edges? And also checked the wheels for dents, etc. possibly from kerb damage? Any of these can cause any indirect TPMS system (from any manufacturer) to throw errors as they create unusual patterns in the signals from the ABS wheel speed sensors which the indirect TPMS system use.

Wireless Carplay not working
Sounds to me like, maybe due to the chip shortage, Skoda are shipping cars with components for the WiFi missing - but without telling anyone?

Photographs of Past Cars...
Four of my previous Audis, and a wildcard of the Hymer motorhomes I used to own. Not got any photos of the Renault 6, two Minis, Austin 1300, Renault 5 GT Turbo, Austin Metro, 2 MG Metro Turbos, two Vauxhall Corsas or AUdi S3 I used to own 😑
