  1. Thanks Colin.👍🏻
  2. Is that in the OE airbox, Colin? Any noticeable difference in noise?
  3. Had a set for a month, removed and sold them. All they did was create a load more wind noise. They’re a complete waste of money IMO.
  4. ….and I only thought it was me….
  5. That’s bizarre. I’d go for the Chinese copies; can’t be worse than the failed OE originals.
  6. The boot sockets in all three Superbs I’ve had (MKI, II and III) have been permanently live.
  7. Hmmm. Well, I’ve not seen any posts re self destruction of radio controls and the ones on our Columbus are fine. Do you have pics?
  8. What media unit are you describing?
  9. I’m not surprised it’d make much difference on a that type of drive, as the engine / gearbox are at optimal everything for a long period. I’d regularly get 60+ on the old MKI with a 110 mile round trip on 95% motorway.
  10. On my ridiculously short commute, I get between 12 and 15% better mpg using eco than I do with normal mode. Nothing scientific, just using the mpgomonitor.
  11. I’ve looked at it once when I first bought the car and never since.
  12. Ahhhh, right, a sort of hissing/whistling? Does it make the sound when the car is stationary and you Rev the engine?
  13. Welcome to briskoda. I’m sorry but I can’t hear anything over the wind roar..
  14. Same here in this weather. Upto 70 within a mile and 90 1/4 mile later. At 0c it’s around 2.5 miles to get to 90.
  15. Here you go…
  16. The full undertray is not a standard fitment. I think it’s only fitted to territories which has challenging terrain. I recall a member bought and fitted one, but can’t remember who. EDIT… It was JR RS in Oz
  17. Yeah, that’ll probably be because the diesel needs more cranking umph due to the high CR than a petrol so little, if anything, to do with price. Just like tyres, manufacturers pay a fixed rock-bottom price for all specs of batteries.
  18. Is this a pay for activation, or is it a “standard” factory extra?
  19. I had our OE battery replaced when it finally died in October with a RAC branded Varta Silver Dynamic AGM 570 901 076 battery. Very slightly more powerful but at least it should be fine for the next few years.
  20. Actually AS could remove the front of your car, extend it by 25cm and then install a 289 Windsor V8. He’s already stated he’s installed a number of front sensors; he’s your “goto” man.
  21. Only a little…. Ski last post was before C19, Russia invading Ukraine and there was a lunatic was in the White House (probably not the last time) We didn't have our 280, and the OP may not have his car either!😂
  22. ….oh yeah, and soooo much quieter than the OE P7’s.
  23. With the experience I’ve had with these, I’ll be sticking with All Seasons. There brilliant in the dry, wet and on snow, which I encountered on my first month of ownership.
  24. Or a duff DCC shock, as they have rattle issues when they've busted.
