  1. Just wish the actual nav system was a bit better, albeit the 3D look would be nice. ☹️
  2. I kinda guessed you must’ve been up ‘n’ down the Emerald Isle; absolutely amazed, because…. 😳Have you seen the state of most of the roads in Ireland?? You need…. 1/ 🏀s and an a#@e of steel and 2/ a really well made car to survive 650,000 and 400,000kms of Irish roads respectively! 👍🏻
  3. And when do you sleep?
  4. 400,000km?? Amazing. 👍🏻
  5. Those days have well and truly gone. I’d be surprised if they even apologised for the inconvenience they actually caused; 95% of main dealers are shameful.
  6. It doesn’t. The MK3 have a much newer range of engines. Anything between 1000 and 3000 miles for a litre of oil would be considered “normal”. Some owners say their 2.0 220/280 petrol use a litre of oil over the the same mileage, yet ours doesn’t seem to use anything. Both are normal.
  7. Pleased it’s sorted. Did you have it overfilled by the same dealer? If so I presume they didn’t charge you today? In any event, that’s a school person error; no vehicle should ever be overfilled in 2023, especially by a main dealer - the damage to the engine and ancillaries can be significant.
  8. Anymore information you can offer would be great?
  9. Yeah, our sons CL500 does this when the roof is up.
  10. Ooowah! I like that idea! Can you make it possible to code it to open one or just the front windows or do they all drop? Anyone know the VCDS coding?
  11. They’re the standard L&K 19” ones, but I can’t recall their name. Also I can cfm that ours has the foam on top of the plastic wheel arch liners.
  12. Cheers….👍🏻
  13. What is that “thing/sensor” he’s shot there, AS?
  14. PS.. I was expecting something exciting to appear on this thread, given the huge white space pauses @fabia88! 😂 PPS.. apart from a failed rear wheel speed sensor failure, which caused the dash to light up like a Christmas Tree (most worrying at the time) the 280 has been completely reliable in three years and 18000 miles.
  15. Hmmmm, well from experience I’ve found the situation to be completely different. If I hadn’t had 4WD on a trip to Ireland in Dec 21, I’m sure I’d never have got home on the P7’s. I think is was five cars I passed who had to give up on the snow and ice for lack of grip and brakes, albeit two were already in the ditch - but the Superb carried on at a steady 20mph without any major dramas. It was the night decided that I’d fit AllSeason tyres after the P7’s were tired and did so in Dec ‘22.
  16. Well, that’s a lovely car. Just goes to show how residuals have improved; I paid £20k for our 2016 hatch with 19,000 miles in 2020! One interesting thing on your car; I see it has a seat memory switch on the passenger seat? I didn’t think they were available at all, let alone standard?
  17. Magnetic Brown. The Turtle Wax Hybrid Wax with Graphene is amazing.
  18. Sheesh, that’s a lovely fleet of cars you have there ZacDaMan!
  19. Probably easier for you to take and paste a pic of what you can see on your car, so AS can comment on that?
  20. Right. I’d had enough, so I had to clean it today. Bit better than it was a couple of days ago….
  21. Jeeesus! I got 37k out of the P7’s (18k of which I added after Prykey traded it) and they still had 3mm all round! Mind you I got 56k on the Contis I had on the MKI Superb, so clearly I do drive like a Granny!
  22. No, not if my experience with the Conti All Season is similar to CrossClimate, albeit I’ve only had them since the end of November and have covered 2,500 miles, so no hot days as yet. Interestingly, the first thing I noticed was they’re so quiet vs the P7’s they replaced. I went with the Conti over the Michelin, based purely on the overall dry and wet performance rather than snow, as we get so little of it here, but we recently had one morning where we woke up to about 4cm and it was like driving on a normal wet road. The amount of snow which had been thrown-up into the wheel arches was amazing!
  23. You must have very clean rain down there… this is how ours looks after a month!
