New bi xenon?
Good luck trying to do it. You will loose the afs function as they use a rolling shutter to create the different light patterns - Hella Variox. https://www.hella.com/techworld/uk/Technical/Automotive-lighting/Adaptive-headlights-663/ I did search before and couldn't find anywhere that did a replacement set of these. I think your best bet would be to get the reflector bowls recoated.

New bi xenon?
Just to be sure, are you replacing the entire headlight, or just fitting new bulbs?

New bi xenon?
No they aren't coded to the car. You will need vcds or similar to put the headlights in adjustment mode when you align them.

Leaving Home doesn’t work no matter what
I'm pretty sure that these type of aftermarket light switches with their own light sensors do not actually send any data to the car. They just act as if you have turned the light switch on yourself.

Pretty sure the reset procedure is the same but you use the left+right+mic button

Octavia 2 2012 navigation update
Those files are for the newer MIB Amundsen units in the MK3 Octavia. The only way to update the maps on yours is to buy the upgrade SD card. Skoda used the same names, Amundsen and Columbus across several totally different generations of products which makes searching for the older units more difficult. The Amundsen+ is the same (albeit with different logos) as the RNS315. Have a search for RNS 315 maps, there are a few places where they are available, but I think there is a Skoda/Seat specifc set of maps which you must use.

If you have one fitted that worked with an Android HU, chances are it's a composite feed. You'll need a composite to RGB converter. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/387075546283?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=d9az2whhqnc&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=Ivbg29OuQe6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY I'm not 100% sure if that is correct, as most are to convert an existing RGB camera feed to cvbs, but from the picture it looks like its the correct way round for your use.

Octavia
Any car that is 23 years old can have problems regardless of how well it was built in the first place. It could be something as simple as the windscreen has been replaced and the adhesive is failing letting the water in.

Warning lights
You have an ABS fault. All three systems ( ESP, ABS and tyre pressure monitoring) rely on the ABS data. The only way to know what is bringing up the fault is too read the car with diagnostic tool, as a number of issues can cause an ABS error bringing the lights on.

Clunk when turning steering wheel
A broken spring can also cause this. Only a small bit may break off making it hard to spot, but means the spring doesn't fully sit in correctly and can move about in certain manuvers

Fabia Mk1 with Factory Sat Nav/Maxidot
Amazing that these still are coming out of the woodwork. BP05 LOF https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/3948881425339693/ Nice spec with ESP, xenons and satnav.

Flood damage write off
I would be very surprised if they pay anything out at all if the damage is caused by a fault resulting in leak rather than a flood. Insurance and warranty against faults are two entirely different things.

2007 Octavia 2.0 TDI - Auto changing gears slowly.
If you're having ABS issues that could be the cause of it. The car relies on the speed data from the ABS sensors on all wheels to determine what gear it needs to be in and also whether to limit or cut power from the engine entirely if it thinks the wheels are locking or spinning from lack of grip etc. When my Octavia had a faulty ABS cable it had exactly the same symptoms with the gears, not changing up or down correctly as the car didn't know what speed it was doing so couldn't calculate what gear to choose. Get any ABS issues fixed before you look at anything else, but the get the oil and filter changed on the gearbox as said above, it's a 40,000 mile interval.

Octavia
None of the MK1 Octavia had a DPF. On the MK2 it's a bit more complicated. The 1.9 PD in the MK2, regardless of the trim never had a DPF fitted.. in the UK at least. All of the CR diesels in the MK2 have a DPF. These replaced the PD engines in early 2010. Some of the early facelift cars got the PD engines without the DPF. The vRS diesel MK2 had a DPF from when it launched in 2006- this was on both the PD and CR engined VRS. The 4x4 2.0 PD had a DPF from when it launched. The 2.0 PD fitted to the non-vRS and non-4x4 models did not have a DPF. Hope that helps.

Needle sweep on my Octavia Mk2 pre-fl 2005 not showing up
I'm pretty sure that needle staging isn't possible on the pre facelift cars, regardless whether you have maxidot or not.

Bluetooth Phone Module Upgrade
Thee are no 4G Bluetooth modules as they are all too old to support it. You should be able to just set the Bluetooth module to hands free rather than premium. It won't then take over the SIM and will just use the phones connection and act as a more traditional hands free. If you have the multi function steering wheel, on the maxidot screen, go into Phone menu, then settings and change from Premium to hands free. You can also disable SIM Access on your phone's Bluetooth settings, that should do the same trick.

radio
No it's a completely different shape to the dashboard and the connections are different. Anything from a newer Skoda will not fit. You'll need an after market double din unit to fit a MK1 Fabia.
