  1. Those look great Dave
  2. They are definitely the headlights that turn. My superb also has the same feature, and they clearly turn with the wheel, maybe only when you're on the move, never tried it when stationary.
  3. Even better then the cornering fog lights, I was referring to your main headlights. You appear to have the "curve projector headlights" where the actual headlight projector swivels with your steering to point slightly round corners. Skoda only fitted them to the very early level 3 Roomster.
  4. Welcome to the forum. That sounds like pretty decent roadtrip and looks like a decent motor. Looks like you have one of the rare early cars with the cornering projector headlights that Skoda fitted as standard to the Roomster only for a very short time just as they were launched. 175,000 is nothing for the PD engines, probably one of the most bullet proof and over engineered engines that VAG ever produced.
  5. I have a full set of these fitted in my Superb and they are great. UK stocked as well. https://www.carshades.co.uk/shades-skoda-yeti-c-2729_3662_5449_5450.html
  6. Does pressing the trunk open button with the car unlocked not release it?
  7. Do any of you know of a free service that I can get the current reg of a car from the vin? Just being nosey to see if my old Octavia is still going strong, but it looks like it's been transferred onto a private plate since I sold it. I know that I could pay for an HPI check based on the VIN but seems a bit of a waste of money just to get the reg no and stick it in the MOT history checker.
  8. Personally I would stick with the OEM wheels, they really suit the car IMO.
  9. The only way to know for sure, is for a diagnostic scan. A member with VCDS should be able to help you, there is a thread with a members map somewhere, I'll try to find a link. All of those lights (apart from the bulb warning) are related to ABS sensor, so could be a sensor, wiring, ABS pump etc. Get it scanned, and it will help you pinpoint what's at fault.
  10. My 2005 DSG Octavia had similar problems changing gear when one of the abs sensors was playing up. It would lurch and suddenly change, or keep a gear until the redline. I guessed that because the car uses the abs sensors for calculating the speed, it didn't know what speed it was doing so the funny speed readings messed up the calculations for the gearbox and what gear it needed etc. Sorting out the abs issues instantly sorted out the DSG, so I would start diagnosing your abs issues as a first port of call. A diagnostic scan should point to whether it's a sensor, wiring or the magnetic ring in the wheel bearings that is at fault.
  11. If it came back immediately without driving the car it will be the wiring. I had endless problems with the NSF on my Octavia and replacing the cable was the only solution in the end.
  12. It doesn't help that Skoda used the same name for very different nav units through the generations. A 2012 Superb will have the older MFD3, also known as the RNS510 or Columbus, which there isn't a fix for.
  13. A 2012 superb will be a MK2 with the older RNS510/Columbus navigation unit. The fix is for the newer nav units fitted to the MK3 Superb.
  14. Nice one. Just extracting on from this, VN05 FZL was also a Fabia vRS, in red registered on the same day as VN05 FZJ and VN05 FZK. Looks like it is long since dead, last MOT in 2013. I wonder if that was also specced with nav.
  15. What engine and model Octavia do you have, as a 54 plate is in the PD era which shouldn't have a dpf.
  16. Nice find that. Looks like a really tidy unmolested example. Getting really hard to find these days
  17. Found another non-vRS with xenon lights . https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1017544925909782
  18. Now heated seats and cruise control I did bother doing and were well worth it.
  19. Looking nice and tidy. Good luck with the electric rear windows. I looked into doing it on my Fab years ago but decided it wasn't worth the hassle
  20. Are your lights completed broken, or is it just the plastic lense on the front?
  21. This is simply one of the best Fabia projects ever. It must be cleaner than if they MOTd a brand new car.
  22. If the OP has a 1.6TDI then it will be facelift mk2, at least a 2010 model year, so the canbus gateway will be fine. Only the earlier cars (pre around 2008) suffered with battery drain from the older gateway not supporting the newer radio units.
  23. I doubt you'd notice any difference on a superb with electric power steering
  24. They should fit fine then. The offset might be slightly different but that shouldn't matter too much with them being an OEM wheel.
  25. Are they 18 or 19" wheels?
