  1. If you need a replacement quickly, best bet is 2nd hand from ebay or a breakers etc.
  2. This PDF of a 2017 price list seems to show the same model with both NYHET and KAMPANJE with the KAMPANJE models being cheaper. They translate with Google as NEWS and CAMPAIGN Make of that what you will. skodapriser_octavia_2017.pdf
  3. Before you go to the expense of a new cluster, it might just need drying out. They're a bit of a pain to remove as the bumper needs to be dropped, but once you've got it off, you can assess it for more cracks etc, and see whether it's terminal. If the bulbs are failing simply from water in the unit, and you manage to get it and keep it dry, then the ballast and electronics can all be swapped over.
  4. The OP is correct, 3T0 601 025H is the Luxon wheel. https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/3t0601025h7zs-aluminium-rim-18-luxon-skoda-36651.html They do look very similar to the Themisto 18" though. Themisto are part no 3T0 601 025 E https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/3t0601025e7zs-aluminium-rim-18-themisto-skoda-17953.html
  5. They were never the best to begin with, but with them being at least 16 years old now, chances are the projector lenses are dirty, and the reflector bowl has begun to degrade. You can get the reflector bowls recoated, but you'd probably be better off dropping in an entirely new set of projectors. https://retrofitlab.com/collections/skoda-fabia-6y/products/skoda-fabia-6y-1999-2007-bi-xenon-xenon-headlights Make sure you get projectors for left hand traffic/right hand drive.
  6. Nice find that. Not many would be prepared to splash out £12,500 on a 2.0 Fabia and then £2000 nav option on top.
  7. Have you tried to get in touch with http://motorsport.brs-technology.sk/ ? Their name has come up a couple of times.
  8. Osram Nightbreakers in D1S are now silly expensive. These have good reviews, and you can get a pair for £25. https://www.powerbulbs.com/product/gt-ultra-xenon-d1s-single
  9. As per pab567s post, you have xenon lights. On the mk2 Superb, this means they are bi-xenon with AFS. They use a d1S bulb through a projector lens, with a shutter to control both dipped and main beam, will turn the lights as you corner, and will change the shape of the light beam dependant on your speed and weather conditions. In addition to the D1s bulb, there is a halogen bulb for high beam and flashing the lights. When they're working correctly, they are great at illuminating the road. Do they do the autodance (up down, left right) when they are first turned on? Park about 5m away from a wall with the lights on. Are the beams roughly level with the height of the headlights? Although they last much longer than conventional halogen bulbs, xenon bulbs do output less and less light as they age. Skoda didn't fit particularly brilliant bulbs as stock either. If the lights are working correctly and adjusted correctly, a new set of bulbs will make quite a difference to how much light is output. Also if you can, whilst changing the bulbs, give the inside of the projector a clean
  10. The RNS510/Columbus is a very old and outdated unit now. You'd be far better off fitting an aftermarket unit.
  11. Pretty sure that will need coding with VCDS or similar diagnostic tool to tell it that the car has an amplifier installed. A bolero won't show parking display on a pre facelift car unless you also upgrade the parking module.
  12. Have you got automatic climatronic or manual AC controls? You can swap to the facelift climatronic onto the older cars with just a pin swap on the wiring harness.
  13. Did you fit a quality part when you replaced it?
  14. Ballast, 2x required: https://www.hids-direct.co.uk/xenon-headlight-d2s-d2r-ballast-for-hella-5dv-007-760-63-audi-ford-opel-vw/ Pair of bulbs: https://www.hids-direct.co.uk/d-lumina-d2s-50-brightness-35w-hid-xenon-headlight-bulb-set-2-bulbs/
  15. No the levelling of the headlights won't cause it to flicker. At the age of the car, it would be prudent to just get 2 new bulbs and ballasts, they are not too expensive these days.
  16. The headlights aiming way to low is a classic symptom of the level sensor on the rear suspension coming apart. Xenon headlights are auto-levelling, and rely on the readings from that sensor.
  17. Quantum Oils are owned by VW, and everything is to their own spec. It was/is the correct oil for your car.

  19. Have drop in LED bulbs finally caught up with D1S xenon for brightness? When I replaced mine around 12 months ago, all of the LED reviews I could find showed that they were actually still not as bright as a good xenon bulb, so I went with a set of Osram Nightbreakers. But definitely give the inside of the projector a clean as best you can. I've often thought that with a bit of ingenuity and pipe cleaners I could also clean the outside of the projector lens through the main beam bulb hole.
  20. A mk1 Fabia will not have a silica bag in the coolant. I presume that the fans work on all 4 speeds?
  21. I think most have missed that the OP has a Greenline, so will already have 16" wheels as standard. If your wheels are corroded, you'd probably be better off simply looking to get your existing wheels refurbished, rather than sourcing other wheels and then having modified wheels, which dependant on your insurer could make a difference to your premium.
  22. Most of the guides you are reading are for the newer generation MQB cars. As said, pretty sure it's not possible with the PQ35/PQ46 platform cars.
  23. There are plenty of sellers on Ebay who can get the PIN from the radio serial no.
  24. You won't need to upgrade the gateway on a 2011 car. You only need to do that on anything pre 2008. On the earlier cars with the older gateway fitted, the newer radios would never fully power down so would drain the battery.
  25. Is it on the inside or the outside of the screen?
