  1. Allow me time to locate, I have to check many files to get information extracted.
  2. I don't think any MHIG firmwares ever got released I'm afraid to say. Edit, I shall look a little closer at my collection of files.
  3. I doubt it myself, odds are the Software update would fix issue's, just we don't get told what each is for.
  4. SW Train MEN3_EU_SK38X_P1245L MU 1765 Is available as an update, so it might fix error, but there are no change logs supplied.
  5. Those are not jumping out to me, but did read the logos should download via radio broadcast I think on those. If you hold down Menu or Setup key for a few seconds, is there any hidden menu that pops up?
  6. Correct 0369 is latest in the 03xx series.
  7. erWin Skoda is 7 Euro for the download PDF's, but if you have the information now, then all is good.
  8. Your radio software probably needs an update, it was released far too quick with many bugs... "send out the cars, we shall fix them later!" Try to scroll around in the menu's and take some more images so we can confirm what exactly is loaded onto it.
  9. Pay close attention to the DPF, there's a chance it's close to end of life.
  10. @VenomVrs I don't think there's an update available.
  11. You may struggle to find a part that has been superseded. 5K0 953 569 E dropped 01/09/2009 for 5K0 953 569 H 5K0 953 569 H dropped 01/03/2014 for 5K0 953 569 AL So try and use this part number and try a fresh search 5K0 953 569 AL this is £251.12 +VAT from main dealer. Shop around!
  12. It's not something I have tried, but fingers crossed you get it back to life once more. So close!
  13. Have you tried the SWL Download CD from above? swl_fix.iso This is used if the unit is stuck with Gateway Error 202 or similar and is unable to boot after the upgrade. It’s based on the 272x firmware but can be used to recover RNS 510’s running any version. Insert the media into the RNS 510 and start a new SWL process by pressing Setup + Eject +Info/Mic (top right hand button next to the DVD slot). It will attempt to restore a new SWL process and will enable it to boot up. (Thanks again to Josi)
  14. Welcome Bob, If you search for the term on the forum there are plenty of threads for the issue. Here is one that I posted a TPI document into, take a read and decide if you wish to apply the fix (if applicable) There should be no harm done, by driving it. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/505730-weird-error-message-only-leave-vehicle-in-position-p/?do=findComment&comment=5683796
  15. That's a nice easy trim to remove, it does have a fair few clips that hold it down fairly well. In answer to your next possible question if it's your light switch?
  16. Update could be an hour, so would recommend if you can pickup some power support, as it could drain battery.
  17. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qygef01D6_w Might be worth watching this quickly!
  18. I would start the engine to supply stable power if you don't have a battery support pack. I would presume it has to be on to power the radio, but see above about stable power during re-flash.
  19. I do have some old CD-R's, just when I looked at size it was on the cusp of CD limits. I can dig out a blank and try if you get no luck in burning.
  20. Though I will admit to having never used one in an engine bay, I do have a steam cleaner at home and use it for various cleaning tasks, hard to reach places. Cannot see why it cannot be used on engine bay, and much safer than a pressure washer as less risk. The steam evaporates quickly, so less chance of trouble. Used with some APC - All purpose cleaner and if needed some brushes to agitate, should be onto a winner. Best of all, can be used around the house, so SWMBO will be happy with purchase if you have those worries.
  21. I was only acutally able to pull this part number up in ETKA, the A part seems to have been removed. It's kinda limited in the "possible single wire" 4B0 937 527 Repair kit - assembly.pdf Attached is the Repair kit/assembly that shows many more choices, let me know if this even helps (I might be a little late to the party as busy night) I can pull up images for each if needed should that assist.
  22. I shall try to look at things in a while, unless someone else has a look, out on the road at the moment.
  23. I am on the road at the minute, but you will need to hold down the menu button to enter hidden menu. It will have software train and also another update button (firmware)
  24. The reduction agent tank has a volume of approx. 12 litres. According to D4B809CDE79-Maintenance.pdf
  25. Report your own post, and there will be option to add some manual text, an admin will come along and edit post. I think because this is your 2nd post, you will not be able to edit things just yet.
