  1. Welcome Steve, always here to help answer any questions, dumb or otherwise 😆
  2. Did you not clean up the spill to find the source of the leak? Advice given in previous thread.
  3. I would do your homework on the above device, and also get @dts87's input also (as he might suggest different or something more powerful) And anyone else that wishes to add some input. Amazon is not always cheapest, so shop around also. Youtube might have a video on setup/use scenarios that could assist. It's sort of PnP, but you have got to login to a local web interface IP address (192.168.0.100 for example) and configure the name for your network, and password (you can use same values as indoor WiFi, and your phone should lock onto strongest signal) Well that's the theory, but reality doesn't always match. The 4x LAN ports will allow you to plug in phone/printer etc even a security camera should you wish (though it will need own power)
  4. The car will light up like Xmas tree, various warnings. Normally turn wheel full lock left/right and it goes away, as it needs to know end points for steering rack. You shouldn't have any big issues with the swap really, other than the hefty weight. Best if you can do a nice long run for an hour if possible to give the battery a nice solid start in life. Better still if you have a battery charger and give it a charge before fitting as I did to my 096 AGM, but no worry if not.
  5. If you are taking out an EFB and fitting an EFB, then no. If you are changing from AGM to EFB (or vice versa) then yes. If the Ah rating is very close (like 2Ah difference) then you are "close enough" not to worry. The radio code is for older radios, the new one's have the VIN embedded and this is what you car checks on startup, if it matches it works. If VIN doesn't match you get Component Protection.
  6. Someone lent on the keyboard at Swansea, if you can PM your VIN over, it will be easier. I suspect it's DADA, but be nice to confirm. If DADA or DCPA, then it has the lifelong belt, and is EA211 EVO where the cambelt change needs the electronic tool to time it up.
  7. It's the letters before that, DACA / DADA / DPCA for example
  8. Engine code off V5 or VIN sent via PM so I can look I might then be able to tell what it has, but need a moment as doing other things.
  9. This might be useful for a long read, there are also several Briskoda threads on same subject. https://www.adrianflux.co.uk/blog/2022/06/how-popular-modifications-affect-your-car-insurance.html
  10. It might be one of these two part numbers? KEA 400 013 KEA 420 013
  11. Brake fluid schedule...
  12. I can concur haven driven to the Moon and back, that I have never had AC serviced. I always left mine on 24/7 365 and had no issues. As long as you keep changing the filters when specified, then you should be ok, inspect old part to check condition (damp etc) Any smells I ever had, I used a can of AC cleaner that you "locked" on with recirc on and left the car for 10mins whilst the can emptied.
  13. 2x Free choices Find a main dealer, they might be in the mood to print off build codes for you Webchat to Skoda UK, they will often provide you a list or you can pay for the hour on erWin, get build codes, wiring diagrams/repair manuals and then hit the online diagrams/repair manuals and fill your boots in the RED BOOK section where all the TPI's live and grab any relevant documents for your motor (recalls and repairs in there)
  14. varooom replied to cado's topic in Skoda Yeti
I have not found anything in my collection of TPI/TSB's, but I only have the tip of the iceberg. You might just be as well to make an account with erWin Skoda, and have your VIN ready to go in a text file. You will also want to make sure that you have the ability to "print" PDF from webpages. Once you have your account, you will need to purchase 1hr of time to download your build sheet of PR codes (might not help you, but does me) and then get your repair/wiring diagrams that are really good to have. Then you can hit the online ElsaPro section where you will see among other things wiring diagrams online/repair information, but here you are looking for what we call the RED BOOK, this is where any recalls/relevant TPI's can be found (and downloaded via PDF printer function) It will be alien if you do try this yourself, so you may need to go in for another hour potentially, so digest what you got and go back in when you have rested!
  15. If this helps anyone, 2B1 is the code for the underbonnet 3W3 Are the codes used on these parts 14 & 15
  16. @dts87 I think you meant to link to a PoE Switch https://www.amazon.co.uk/NETGEAR-Gigabit-Ethernet-Unmanaged-Network/dp/B09178VJK9 They could also just use this, one WAN feed port, and 4 LAN ports + WiFi https://www.amazon.co.uk/NETGEAR-Wireless-Desktop-Access-WAX204/dp/B08MQ5CVQK Really do need to know what gear the OP is going to connect now/future.
  17. The part number you should need is: 5J2 941 018 F This is Right Lamp, for a RHD in Black (Right is always direction of travel, so your O/S) This is cheaper than going into your dealer, or please look around scrappers and carefully on eBay https://skodapartsdirect.co.uk/product/skoda-fabia-estate-2007-2014-front-drivers-side-headlamp/
  18. The basic answer is Wireless Access Point. So you feed in a LAN cable from your home router, and the device generates Wi-Fi signals on the other end (will need some configuration) This of course can be fleshed out in more detail, might be good idea to let us know what ISP kit you have now.

Welcome, hope you enjoy your VRS 🤝
  20. It seems the pads are trash, so might not last too long. The polish is OK, but maybe you should look at Menz's 3-in-1 polish they do, sort of a medium/fine cut and lays down a basic wax. Could be useful until you get the feel for it all. Pads wise, might be worth looking at some alternatives.
  21. Thanks for the image that I cannot get outta my head now... his tentacles. Pass me the blowtorch for my eyeballs please. 😆
  22. I can send you 0369 in a few moments
  23. I suspect that is the case for your year, but PR codes are the only way to verify. At least now you know the most likely part number you can scour the internet. Good luck with that.
  24. You was spot on with your part number guess above the post here, found the part for your Estate, and they still use the same part number, just with new date range. Illustration 868-080 if you have parts program lookup, part 8
