  1. @Carlston You did orginally put "but it's not suitable for the Fabia MK1/2/3" which you have now deleted, but that's why I posted to say that I never said it was suitable for those. Fabia [6Y] Fabia II [54] Fabia III (2015 +) [NJ] Fabia IV [PJ] MY2022+ is when it appears. Anyhow, Skoda have decided to give the same wheel a new part number to no doubt throw off people wishing to purchase off eBay as they probably won't find it. The fact is you/me will be able to look at a parts catalog and see that the same size wheel is available on eBay under a different part number as you have posted. The thread might be getting a bit derailed now, so I won't post more here.
  2. For a Fabia iV [PJ] (hence why I said newer Fabia's) If it's in the catalog, it's probably an option in some Country.
  3. 0156 is the latest for your 01xx series hardware. It's probably a hardware fault that they won't like admitting to, they/you could try to load firmware again, but I am doubtful it will fix things. There are 02xx and 03xx versions for the newer hardware.
  4. Did you ever find out what Software Train you have in the radio now. I keep asking as I can say if update exists, and then you can know if the garage is saying "no" and lying/getting it wrong. You won't break it by looking 🤝
  5. I wish they would add these items onto the charts, or give us a portal we can input VIN and get back a custom chart including all these items. I can imagine the shock of going in for something at 6 years or 14 years and getting a call from service desk about something else not taken into account.
  6. You might be lucky with that original battery then, I think they can loose 0.1V per month due to internal resistance? That's really shocking how they dropped the ball so hard, I guess anyone can label themselves a VAG specialist 🤐
  7. You're right about the pipe needing a potential blow out. I am not sure @Rob043 has tested the sensor without pipe connected and engine off? Out of curiousity I tested my sensor with the pipe off, and engine off and the sensor still read the same, about 5g 😆
  8. A facelift of some sorts/or platform change. OCU (onboard communications unit) and a new MIB3 I would dare say AdBlue Are the rough changes I can see on a quick look.
  9. I cannot write the swear words in here, but try "un-duck-ing believable!" Last night I was going to link you to a thread I made about battery coding, but clearly you dusted off your VCDS cobwebs fast.
  10. Just note that the 10th character of your VIN needs to be checked, the above is for a 2 value as there was a change in August 2002, if not you need an earlier wiring diagram from 1999-2002 (before August) Mentioned in case you check the wiring and it looks different to the above.
  11. Update to 0369 is available, I will send a link via PM Maps updates here (only work on a Skoda/VW/SEAT approved card)
  12. Was the part numbers the same on both new and old? Might also be an idea to check fuse didn't blow, and if not, see if you can put in the old and try putting in the pin you tested and see if it's working then.
  13. So that's MY2016, I was asking as their's a change for MY2017 in the maintenance book. I am always amused when I see the servicing chart above, issued by Skoda UK, as the official timings for things from factory are XY, and Skoda UK take things off there own back to add a Z on the end to earn themselves money I presume. Example 4x4 service: Factory = Change oil every 3 years Skoda = Change oil every 3 years or 30k miles I always wonder why they decide they know more than the factory, and have the autority to slap on their own condition? This is the same for the belt, it's supposed to be for "life" (rather open ended statement) but I myself would probably stick to 5 years (or check condition then, and every year after) One thing I did see not shown on above chart is alarm battery at 6 years, probably skipped over by most, and really down to yourself to decide on that.
  14. @J.R.That all sounds good to me, I suspect I always have a knee jerk reaction to disabling parts of the car these days. Some disable parts, maybe poorly removed by a bad engine tuner (I had this myself years back with a disabled part that kept flagging up) I suspect your bang on the money with an EGR simulator device, if well made and programmed the engine ECU should be satisfied. So tl;dr is I tend to react about disabled parts due to past experiences 😆
  15. What is the 10th character of your VIN? G - 2016 H - 2017 J - 2018
  16. The download link will probably be expired by tomorrow. Format the drive Extract files onto the "root" of the drive only.
  17. That was a great "barn" find then 😂 Best of luck with it tomorrow then.
  18. You are spot on, there is no skinny space saver, the PR code of 1G1 though correct, the text is misleading in this instance as I wouldn't call a 5J width a space saver. If you look at the much newer model Fabia's there does exist a PR code of 1G9 that is a skinny little 3.5J
  19. Look close again at this image from the parts catalog. You will see PR Code 1G1 (1G2 also) Along with dimensions, it's not your typical skinny space saver that needs 60 ish PSI.
  20. Only basic, but did some quick and dirty data logging. RPM over initial 30s cold startup (slightly lower Voltage as I was setting up with engine off of course - was 12.3V on meter) Battery Voltage over the first 30s after cold start (the lower Voltage when cranking was to be expected as it took time to setup datalogging, the droop at 15s was heated screen going on) I recorded about 3 minutes of data, that was over 14 Volts, as the heated screens were on, and the Voltage didn't drop lower than this.
  21. Your instructions are here
  22. That was for @Rachetz32 his update is different to yours. I replied quickly to 2x different posts, and the forum "helped" by merging 2 posts into one (which can confuse)
