  2. PapaDuplo, where did you source your micro PNY, when I search Amazon have ‘em but only on the USA site……?
  3. I’m sure this has come up before and there was a fairly simple fix……?
  4. Same in my 2022 L&K, no backlighting for the rear overhead switches........
  5. Berisford replied to pinkpanther's topic in Skoda Karoq
What I intended to write above.......but you can't delete or edit after just a few minutes......... ........On a 2 wheel drive Karoq I'd prefer the spacesaver to be on the rear, it can't be doing the differential any good on the front - on the 4 wheel drive I'm not sure you can fit a single wheel with a smaller circumference....?

  7. ABS sensor, quite likely to be rear offside……?
  8. Do you get roadside AA, a service and MOT in with the £480....?
  9. For the first time since new (15 months) I had a couple of passengers in the back yesterday - I was surprised to fine the rear offside door child lock was 'on' and despite my efforts to reset it I can't, everytime the inside handle is used the child lock comes on - anyone come across this problem before? It might be that I'm not turning the 'off on' mechanical actuator far enough but I don't want to force it......?
  10. Nice one Christophy - thanks….
  11. That is unless you upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and then you are stuffed it seems...........
  12. I dare bet you'd have to extend the wiring on any button you wish to reposition - not impossible, I did it on my VWT5, but a little fiddly............
  13. I find the standard wireless charging pad built in to the car creates too much heat when the phone is running Google Maps / Waze, my iphone gets alarmingly hot.......
  14. Is the dash colour theme still connected to the ambient mood lighting….?
  15. The Skoda rubber mats mitigate the problem slightly inasmuch as they have a raised lip all the way around………
  16. Air in the Air Con system……?
  17. I wonder how taxi drivers get around it, I’m sure the doors on taxis have to be unlocked whilst a ‘fare’ is onboard?
  18. Yes, I noticed that too whilst trying to find a way around the problem……..
  19. Seems someone at Skoda (or the dictatorial EU) have decided that owners cannot be trusted with the option to switch off ‘auto locking’………!
  20. Yes it does - I find it irritating on A roads - you head into a dip and the car applies the brakes only to 'kick down' a moment later to climb out of the dip - I find myself knocking the ACC off momentarily to avoid the car braking - I'm pretty sure the following vehicle must get ****ed off with the constant brake light show? The basic cruise is better inasmuch as it doesn't mind gaining a few MPH going downhill - but it does need keeping in check on longer downhill sections.
  21. Has your vehicle been retro fitted with a wireless type pressure monitor system?
  22. Our 24 reg 1.5SEL is difficult to drive smoothly, the accelerator is very unforgiving leading to a jerky ride, especially on rough potholed surfaces........our previous 1.0 SEL was far superior in the ride.
  23. Wireless (and expensive) on some cars but VW group vehicles mainly use the ABS exciter built into the hubs..........
  24. Mine snapped off too - I had 30 minutes investigating the feasibility of replacing it and concluded the job was not worth the effort………
  25. You need three hands, two to push the sprung loaded clips/hinges in and the other to steady the operation - keep at it, you'll win..........not sure you should have to remove any screws?
