Sorry, yes that is not-MQB friendly. With regards to the mk3 Superb - the problem is that the windows/sunroof are not powered anymore after doors r locked. The early MY15 Superb was able to do it, and they came with the RLFS sensor. Later Superbs came with RLHS sensors. So even if u put the RLFS sensor in a MY16> auto close won't work. Tis a shame.

my understanding is that u need the "RLS" sensor for it to work. RLFS or RLHS won't work in the Superb.

+1 Also, the eyebrows use LED lamps, not bulbs.

Not a helpful comment for this discussion - but the high beams in my Superb r brilliant. They light up far and the low beams cover the width nicely. I did change the factory xenon bulbs to the Phillips XtremeVision Gen2 though. Good luck with hooking up ur LED light bar.

280 came with DQ250 (DSG-6 wet). The later 272 comes with the newer DQ380/381. I think the Kodiaq RS Bi-turbo diesel came with the DQ500.

The new facelift steering wheel looks nice.

None of the mk3 Superb models come equipped with the DQ500 DSG box.

Maybe it ur Driving Profiles. The Driving Profiles affect the ACC distance, and resume to speed characteristics. Hence in Comfort Mode - it will b in no hurry to close the gap, or accelerate to the set speed in any hurry. In Normal mode - it won't waste time. In Sports mode - it will super quick.

ah i see. unfortunately, it still scrubbed (only at the rear) in Sport mode with 245/40/19, 15mm spacers and lowered. i could hear it scrubbing when taking corners. with 235/40/19, 15mm spacers and lowered - no scrubbing in any mode, or any compressions. with 245/40/19, 10mm spacers and lowered - no scrubbing in any mode, or any compressions.

@fencer- I dealt with a person at Eibach Sydney office - there was no confusion about part numbers between hatch or wagon. The same part numbers apply to the Passat B8. Either way - good luck with ur new springs. @Donweather- yes, my car has DCC, which means it was already 15mm lower than standard, from factory. Also, the different modes do not change ride height. So putting it in Sport will not have an effect, apart from ur compression rates.

i just noticed u got E10-79 series springs!! that's for the Wagons - would explain why ur rear hasn't dropped as much the front. the wagon has a heavier backend than the liftback. the E10-85 series is the correct springs for the sedan/liftback. I think with the overall design of the Superb body - u can't avoid that "nose heavy" look. Another reason why I got the Rieger side skirts, to fill out the sides as it made the car look more nose heavy without it. The Eibach Pro-kit springs have dropped evenly on mine, with even wheel gaps front & back. When I measure from the distance from top arch centre to the bottom of tyre - it is 670 mm all-round.

I have the same setup too, with no issues either. But I have only 10mm spacers at the rear because I have 245/40 tyres. The rear was fine with 235/40 tyres and 15mm spacers, but with 245 tyres, it scrubbed on compression. Hence I reduced the spacers to 10mm at the rear. No issues now. @Frankenfurter unlike us, is running 20" wheels that r 8.5" wide, wearing 245/35 tyres. Hence his question if it will scrub on compression after he lowers it on the Eibach Pro-kit springs. I think some negative camber on the rear will solve his problem. fronts will b fine.

+1 i bought LED bulbs, to try, but never ended up fitting them. the LED bulbs, combined with their heatsink and fan, is usually too long, meaning that u can't place the back cover on. no back cover means dirt and crap can get inside the headlight unit, which is no good. and even if it does end up fitting, those LED heatsinks get so so hot, that there is a risk of it melting the back cover, or the surrounding plastic inside. i'm just sticking to my upgraded Phillips xTremeVision Gen2s xenon bulbs. they do a good job.

I have the exact same reversing lights - they're great n still going strong after 4 plus yrs now.

If the boot is open, it shows as red on the cluster, like the doors. If the boot is closed, it shows as white on the cluster, like the doors. Maybe ur boot latch sensor/switch is misbehaving, and needs to b replaced.

Wat ur feeling is not "normal". The 1.4 uses the dry 7 speed DSG box (DQ200) - it is very unrefined, harsh and has been subject to recalls over the past few years. The bigger engines get paired with the wet 6 speed DSG box (DQ250), and now the new wet 7 speed DSG box (DQ381).
