  1. SuperSkoda (kopaeck) have them on sale at the moment - their good quality & fitment. i got mine from AliExpress. Not as big as the SuperSkoda versions, but they do the job, and fit well too.
  2. It shows in the infotainment menu....
  3. for 12 secs at a time, before u have to touch/hold the steering wheel. its a safety thing and cannot be overridden. also, there r two types of Lane Assist. - Lane Assist: basic bouncy bouncy (left to right) version - Active Lane Guidance: actively keeps u centered in the middle of the lanes
  4. Not sure about it exactly with that combo. Mine was scrubbing, only just, with 245 wide 19" tyres. A negative camber at the rear would've probably addressed that, but I figured it's best to drop down to a 10mm spacer at the rear. Less poke too. Pic below shows the poke with 245 wide tyres, lowered and 15mm spacers. It scrubs (when the wheel compresses) where the bumper meets the rear qtr panel. The drop @Awesam has on his is currently way more than 30mm. I'd say it's between 40 and 50mm. Would b good to c wat measurements @Awesam has from the top of his wheel arch to the ground. mine is currently sitting at 670mm, after the 20mm drop from the Eibach springs. from factory, it was almost 690mm.
  5. Could b the Rear Traffic Alert. It uses two blind spot monitors (BSM) radars located inside the rear bumper. See video. Assuming urs is MY16, then definitely not Manoeuvre Assist, nor can it b enabled using VCDS or OBDEleven. https://youtu.be/DxFiTjcI5LU
  6. I think it's same same. Back in 2017 when I bought my Superb, they were called Phoenix. At some point, recently, they became Trinity. Not sure why, or what happened. I initially thought Phoenix referred to the Anthracite version, and Trinity was the all Silver version. My theory was..... Phoenix... Trinity....
  7. MY16 Superb does not have Manoeuvre breaking. This was introduced from MY18 onwards.
  8. U should have no scrubbing issues @Awesam with 10mm spacers on ur 18s. 19" rims with 235/40R19 tyres, lowered 20mm, with 15mm spacers (F&R) = no scrubbing at all. 19" rims with 245/40R19 tyres, lowered 20mm, with 15mm spacers (F&R) = slight rubbing at the rear only. No issues with the fronts. Rear with 10mm spacers doesn't having scrubbing issues.
  9. u can read about it here. with my car lowered 20mm on Eibach springs, doing the re-calibration changes/updates the DCC shock's compressed and uncompressed values. its made a noticeable difference with my setup, one of the key ones, as described above - not having to put the suspension in "sport" setting anymore. only time i put the suspension into sports mode is when i'm doing spirited runs up and down a windy mountain road.
  10. +1, i too used to drive around with mine in Individual mode for years, mainly to firm up the DCC Suspension, but since i've done (recently) the DCC re-calibration, i'm in Normal mode almost all the time now. my Individual mode settings....
  11. U remove the front wheels and wheel arches to access the back of the headlights. From the top through the engine bay is too tight and U risk damaging the d3s bulbs in the process.
  12. its not a new thing to the mk3 Superb. its a DSG thing, be it the 6-speed or 7-speed wet clutch versions. i don't know wat the 7-speed dry is like. its the same with mk2 gen of Octavia, Superb etc etc as they too had the same 6-speed wet dsg (DQ250). a DSG tune will fix that a lot and make Sport mode a lot more driveable. I had DSG performance tune put in my previous 2011 mk2 Octavia RS 147TSi and it made Sports mode usable.
  13. highly unlikely the wiring will b there. also, a USB hub/splitter is required to allow/enable multiple USB ports around the car in order to have infotainment connectivity.
  14. @Corbarwolf- how to video below. It's quite easy to remove the back cover, and get the battery out. Correct battery is CR2032. CR2025 is a thinner battery. https://youtu.be/Z0rhA9LqEGk
  15. Did a bit more research......its not a simple job if u want the memory function. The seat electric motors are different between seats without memory function and seats with Memory function. Passenger seat motors will only have two pins not the four required for Memory function. The driver's seat with memory function electric motors will have encoders fitted. If ur feeling brave, here is some Russian reading, done on a Tiguan. Part 1 Part 2
  16. Unless there is a way to tell the car that there r now 2 (driver's and passenger's) seat memory positions to store, I'm not sure adding a second seat memory controller will work? The seat memory controller also stores the wing mirror positions. So wat effect will there b adding another seat memory module? Also how would it impact the Personalisation settings? I'd imagine a master and slave module combo would b required. When I got my "chrome" version of the seat buttons, I moved the original button to the passenger seat. I didn't see any wire harnesses. Looking under the passenger seat, I noticed a blank spot for where the seat module would go - but I didn't see any wiring from the car up to the seat, and hence the module. Would b nice to see if it can actually b done. Either, below is the coding from my driver's seat (RHD). 36 Driver Seat System description: Sitzmemory Software number: 5Q0959760C Software version: 0024 Hardware number: 5Q0959760C Hardware version: H09 Serial number: Y0006RLE37446 ODX name: EV_SeatMemorDriveSide ODX version: 002022 Long coding: 0014000000000500018280808080000000008181000000D400 Trouble codes: No trouble codes found pics of under my seats.... Driver's seat Passenger's Seat New seat buttons. I put the old on the passenger seat, but its not connected.
  17. A 2013 Superb is not mk3. Mk3 started from 2015. @tomwoods- u should post ur question in the Superb mk2 forum.
  18. Yup, they r the 19" Phoenix/Trinity rims, ET44. 15mm hubcentric spacers front & rear. Car is lowered 20mm. Had no issues with 235 tyres and the 15mm spacers on the rear, but the same setup with the wider 245 tyres scrubs (where the rear bumper joins the rear qtr panel) every so lightly. The poke was also a bit too much to my liking, so I've now removed the rear spacers. No more scrubbing.
  19. It's not a myth - newer car's have the dreaded SFD protection. VWAG have implemented something called Vehicle Diagnostic Protection SFD on the newest vehicles - this makes it impossible to change some values without getting a code from the VWAG corporate servers. The previous procedure (activation of security access by way of a 5-digit login code) no longer conforms to VWAG security requirements.
  20. EA888 CCZA 147TSi - same engine as the mk6 GTi. Foot control was the key to getting power down. Best time I did for 0-100 was 5.9 secs.
  21. According to "on paper" - about 465 Nm (340 ft-lbs). Stage 1 was about 420 Nm (309 ft-lbs).
  22. After 4 yrs, and almost 55k kms, the factory Pirelli P7 has done it's time and has been replaced with ContiMaxContact6 tyres. While I was at, changed the tyre profile to 245/40R19, saving more than a hundred bux a tyre! With the car already lowered on Eibach Springs, I had to remove my rear 15mm spacers as they scrubbed a little while turning or going over speed bumps with passengers in the back! Front is great. Just a wee bit too much poke at the rear.....
  23. I removed my front bumper so I could properly align (drill holes for the 30x torx screws required) my Rieger splitter and fit speedy fasteners (so I can remove and refit the splitter in a few minutes).
  24. If u have a 6 speed, it's definitely DQ250. The DQ250 can more than handle Stage 1 tune power levels. It can also handle Stage 2 with a TCU tune. I had an APR Stage 2+ tune running on my previous car (mk2 Octavia RS) with the same gearbox - it handled well/fine for 4+ years.
  25. The ACC does NOT think the car is in ur lane - it knows the car is in the adjacent lane, and it's clearly shown in graphics. It is, unfortunately, a "safety feature" that prevents u from undertaking a car in the right adjacent lane for RHD countries, or undertaking a car in the left adjacent lane for LHD countries. This feature can b disabled using VCDS or OBDEleven. Plenty have done it, including myself.
