Automatic gear shift handle
+1 Mine is 2017, and the DSG knob is still factory new. Many times I rest my hand on the lever while driving. Many times my ring finger grazes it. But the knob is still good, as is expected to be. I'm surprised the number of people having issues with their knobs deteriorating!! Sorry, not funny, I know.

Superb MY17 - VCDS change activation speed for high beam (Light assist)
The Superb doesn't have that option. Our setup is different to the Octavia when it comes to HBA/SLA behaviour. In the Superb, the activation and deactivation speed is embedded in the 4B parameter file. U can't edit this. Interestingly with mine, prior to retrofitting SLA headlights, my HBA threshold was 60 km/h. After I retrofitted SLA, and had the SLA parameter file loaded, the threshold changed to 40 km/h! That was unexpected, but I like it. Even the Skoda videos for SLA one of the conditions is that the car is doing at least 60 km/h. Oh well, I'm not complaining. https://youtu.be/z3D9vHxc9T0

Hence the link @fraz8888 posted above - 3rd post. Talks about all this.

USB Port Retrofit.
It uses the same connector plug as the existing one. Remove old. Plug new. Nice n easy. The hard bit was getting the old 12v socket out. Had to break it out.

USB Port Retrofit.
i routed my front USB port to inside the center armrest console storage so i could connect/store my AAWireless device nicely under mat. i had initial plans to get a USB hub so i can add a second USB port into the blank/dummy plate in there. one day......

USB Port Retrofit.
As @fraz8888 mentioned - get 12v socket USB adaptor charger thing. I removed the 12v socket in mine and replaced it with a USB socket. Happy with it. the picture u shared is for markets that have the optional 240v power socket at that rear console. Those things come with additional USB ports (power only). the wiring loom for that is definitely not there, n the hardware is difficult to source and very expensive.

SuperSkoda (kopaeck) have them on sale at the moment - their good quality & fitment. i got mine from AliExpress. Not as big as the SuperSkoda versions, but they do the job, and fit well too.

for 12 secs at a time, before u have to touch/hold the steering wheel. its a safety thing and cannot be overridden. also, there r two types of Lane Assist. - Lane Assist: basic bouncy bouncy (left to right) version - Active Lane Guidance: actively keeps u centered in the middle of the lanes

Lowering springs install on a 280/272 Sportline - DIY and results
Not sure about it exactly with that combo. Mine was scrubbing, only just, with 245 wide 19" tyres. A negative camber at the rear would've probably addressed that, but I figured it's best to drop down to a 10mm spacer at the rear. Less poke too. Pic below shows the poke with 245 wide tyres, lowered and 15mm spacers. It scrubs (when the wheel compresses) where the bumper meets the rear qtr panel. The drop @Awesam has on his is currently way more than 30mm. I'd say it's between 40 and 50mm. Would b good to c wat measurements @Awesam has from the top of his wheel arch to the ground. mine is currently sitting at 670mm, after the 20mm drop from the Eibach springs. from factory, it was almost 690mm.

Auto stop
Could b the Rear Traffic Alert. It uses two blind spot monitors (BSM) radars located inside the rear bumper. See video. Assuming urs is MY16, then definitely not Manoeuvre Assist, nor can it b enabled using VCDS or OBDEleven. https://youtu.be/DxFiTjcI5LU

Phoenix vs Trinity alloys
I think it's same same. Back in 2017 when I bought my Superb, they were called Phoenix. At some point, recently, they became Trinity. Not sure why, or what happened. I initially thought Phoenix referred to the Anthracite version, and Trinity was the all Silver version. My theory was..... Phoenix... Trinity....

MY16 Superb does not have Manoeuvre breaking. This was introduced from MY18 onwards.

U should have no scrubbing issues @Awesam with 10mm spacers on ur 18s. 19" rims with 235/40R19 tyres, lowered 20mm, with 15mm spacers (F&R) = no scrubbing at all. 19" rims with 245/40R19 tyres, lowered 20mm, with 15mm spacers (F&R) = slight rubbing at the rear only. No issues with the fronts. Rear with 10mm spacers doesn't having scrubbing issues.

What do 280/272 owners think of sport mode?
u can read about it here. with my car lowered 20mm on Eibach springs, doing the re-calibration changes/updates the DCC shock's compressed and uncompressed values. its made a noticeable difference with my setup, one of the key ones, as described above - not having to put the suspension in "sport" setting anymore. only time i put the suspension into sports mode is when i'm doing spirited runs up and down a windy mountain road.
-
What do 280/272 owners think of sport mode?
+1, i too used to drive around with mine in Individual mode for years, mainly to firm up the DCC Suspension, but since i've done (recently) the DCC re-calibration, i'm in Normal mode almost all the time now. my Individual mode settings....

Superb 3 2017
U remove the front wheels and wheel arches to access the back of the headlights. From the top through the engine bay is too tight and U risk damaging the d3s bulbs in the process.

What do 280/272 owners think of sport mode?
its not a new thing to the mk3 Superb. its a DSG thing, be it the 6-speed or 7-speed wet clutch versions. i don't know wat the 7-speed dry is like. its the same with mk2 gen of Octavia, Superb etc etc as they too had the same 6-speed wet dsg (DQ250). a DSG tune will fix that a lot and make Sport mode a lot more driveable. I had DSG performance tune put in my previous 2011 mk2 Octavia RS 147TSi and it made Sports mode usable.

Internal mirror housing usb
highly unlikely the wiring will b there. also, a USB hub/splitter is required to allow/enable multiple USB ports around the car in order to have infotainment connectivity.

Key fob battery replacement
@Corbarwolf- how to video below. It's quite easy to remove the back cover, and get the battery out. Correct battery is CR2032. CR2025 is a thinner battery. https://youtu.be/Z0rhA9LqEGk
