  1. Then you're out of luck because I just bet there aren't any in the UK.
  2. They'll last at least ten years then!
  3. No, they'll last at least 20k, age means nothing, only wear.
  4. As I said, the ECU has full control of boost so if anything were amiss there would be a fault code, the MAP sensor is very accurate.
  5. The ECU would throw a fault code if actual boost did not match requested. Get it remapped if you want more but please bear in mind that it's a tiny turbo.
  6. Why do you think it's dodgy if you don't know what it is? B1 S2 is the post-cat lambda probe and a high percentage is good, it means the cat is working really well.
  7. If you cannot get a Temac gasket and must buy a pattern item then Victor Reinz or Payen would be my second choices.
  8. The pressure information comes from the MAP sensor. Given that your car makes so little power then one bar of boost sounds about right.
  9. Check all the seals, a missing or damaged seal will allow extra air in to that cylinder ruining the fuel/air mixture.
  10. Unplug it, clear the code and see if the code returns with the CTS unplugged or if it changes to a different code.
  11. Try swapping injectors round and see if the misfire follows that injector.
  12. Have you checked for boost leaks?
  13. Yes you can, batteries are sealed for life these days and cannot leak, they're just heavy!
  14. The N75 is simply a solenoid that controls the vacuum to the turbo actuator by bleeding air into the line, the vacuum is generated by the tandem pump, try unplugging the solenoid electrically rather than by disconnecting the vacuum pipe.
  15. The turbo is obviously making the noise when the VNT opens, this may indicate that the turbo is failing.
  16. Try Milotec in Germany, they made them, this site is in English because it's in the UK.
  17. Just replace it, it's toast unless it has a five year guarantee.
  18. I'd be surprised if you get it back, looks like a dead cell from that voltage reading.
  19. It is a similar job, I've done racks on Golfs and Boras but not on a Fabia however the principle is the same.
  20. Look, the lights are the same SHAPE so they will almost certainly fit ok. If you're waiting for someone to come along who has actually DONE this conversion then you may be waiting a while. Otherwise just go ahead and do the work and tell us how you get on. Get it done, or don't.
  21. No, the engine that you have already is available with 100 BHP but it won't work with an automatic transmission because the stall torque figures are too low. You don't really know enough about this subject to attempt such an ambitious project, I suggest you just put petrol in the car and enjoy driving it instead of taking it to pieces and finding yourself unable to put it back together.
  22. At 170k I would have a torque limited remap to help preserve the aging drive train, a peaky map would hasten the demise of the gearbox and driveshafts not to mention the turbo itself, it's still 165 BHP which is a useful increase anyway.
  23. Depends, a torque limited remap to preserve the standard clutch would be sensible unless you know it's already been replaced.
