  1. Yes, I just insert my key and turn it half a turn and the glove box is locked. Maybe it's only the elegance that has it...
  2. My glove box is lockable, isn't yours?
  3. We'd already agreed that the plugs are irrelevant since the stem seals were replaced recently. Do keep up.
  4. They are indeed, hatch and estate are different though.
  5. I think you'll be ok, I didn't know you'd already done the seals so I doubt it's that, I was simply throwing in another cause of the symptoms you describe, to be honest we've already covered everything once so I'd go ahead and replace sensor 2 since sensor 1 has already been done, failing that you need a new cat.
  6. You can have these problems with worn valve guides or crispy stem seals on port injection engines, the engine is sucking oil and air down the guides throwing out the mixture control. Check the colour of the spark plug electrodes and look for any oil fouling.
  7. It doesn't do anything unless your aircon is running in which case it will blow cold air into the cubby hole like a mini fridge to keep the contents cool, there's one in the glove box as well, a rotary knob.
  8. It's common, Skoda are not going to admit to any problems unless there's a recall. Frankly I'm surprised you need to ask, you don't strike me as someone who came to earth during the last rain shower.
  9. Fascinating, confirming the appearance of clean car engine oil on white tissue paper. If you've just blown your nose then see a doctor, if you've just wiped the dipstick then please close the bonnet and drive the car some more before checking the level again. Thank you.
  10. The top half is the reservoir, the bottom half is the pump, you need to remove the entire assembly, and refit one to the other correctly and use a new clip to secure it unless the clip can be reused.
  11. I dunno, but any further input here is probably superfluous.
  12. I hate to sound like Captain Obvious but why don't you just order a set of shields from a TT instead of yet another different VAG platform, at least the TT definitely has the same hub carrier which is why the brakes from it fit the Fabia.
  13. No, but it should be obvious, my guess is the high pressure hose leaking.
  14. You need to test the speakers, it's possible someone fitted an aftermarket head unit which was too powerful and has blown the lot listening to terrible teenaged gurl music.
  15. No need, your standard shields will be fine.
  16. Is the groan face a 'no' then? Try calling 116 123 if the questions are confusing you.
  17. 2004 1.2 HTP 6V is definitely going to have burnt valves causing a misfire, stop buying new coil packs and check the compression now.
  18. There's no reason why it would go off, it's electrically triggered by the airbag module, it's designed NOT to go off under any other circumstances, it's extremely inert, capable of being thrown around and pounded by angry little fists, it will not go off even in a cabin fire or if the car is struck by lightning. Otherwise you'd be reading about random deployments leading to fatal accidents all the time, there are hundreds of millions of them driving around all over the world, more sitting harmlessly in scrapyards or parked up. It Just Isn't Happening
  19. 01905428793 is their number, the site seems easy to navigate. Are you ok?
  20. I was taking the p155 🙃
  21. We're really getting to the root of the problem with this P0130 fault code, great job team! There is another topic where you can all hang out of each other...
  22. Newsflash: I was replying to the OP's question: Reading comprehension suggests the towering wall of text you wrote may be TLDR This isn't my first rodeo, I've been here solving peoples problems for ten years, you need to keep it concise and to the point.
