  1. Their database will be incorrect. That sizes isn’t correct for an Octavia. When I put my reg in, it calls up 225/35/19 (I think). My actual tyre spec is 225/40/18. They do say to always double check before buying 👍🏻
  2. At 2:19 you can just see and hear the wipers scraping over the ice on the left side of the screen.
  3. Yes. The wipers go past the heating elements and onto ice at the A pillar.
  4. Not sure what’s happened then. But I’ve just been out and checked my screen and it is definitely as the blue lines.
  5. They do, yes. More so at the bottom of the screen due to the angle of the heating elements.
  6. Fair enough. My current 2017 Octavia is as the blue lines. My last 2014 Octavia, was the same as the blue lines. Not sure what else I can add to this.
  7. Why would they not charge for recalibration? I can’t think of any company that wouldn’t.
  8. I would say they are correct. The heat elements do not go edge to edge. My factory fit, OEM screen is the same as the ‘blue’ lines.
  9. They actually look ok. I think with your black badges this could work 👍🏻
  10. God, as if it wasn’t bad enough that your car has been damaged. You then have the prospect of maybe having to drive an Insignia for a few weeks whilst it’s away being repaired…
  11. I think it’ll only work if you do the same with any other silver detailing. Like Cupra, with their copper detailing. And even then I’m not really convinced.
  12. The engine produces the same amount of power in all modes. There is no difference. 100% throttle is 100% throttle.
  13. Mine creaks and groans, depending on the temperature. Has done since new. It’s now six years later.
  14. The 190 is mega rare. I’d personally just look for a vRS. They don’t attract attention. Not in my experience anyway. Re. The boot floor. The adjustable boot floor was an optional extra. Sounds like the model you saw had it fitted. It’s nothing fancier than a bit carpeted MDF (or similar) and can be retrofitted easily.
  15. Yep. You put the wipers in the service position. The manual states how to do this (I can’t remember off the top of my head).
  16. Yes. It’s just water as stated way up the thread.
  17. Have you asked what the issue is? Can you post it here, then people can advise. Just posting their solution isn’t much use on its own 👍🏻
  18. My understanding was that: - lane assist was standard - blind spot and mirror puddle lights were options But the caveat that is 2017 info.
  19. If you Google the previous plate, it’s on the guys Twitter and on a Facebook page with different wheels.
  20. Fair comment. I have pauper spec analogue dials. Hence why I never though of that 👍🏻
  21. I guess if the modes did something meaningful, like turn the engine up to 11, then it would be neat. But the driving modes are ultimately a gimmick. Reading of people doing things engaging sport mode for an overtake raise a smile, for me. It’s an Octavia. Not a Knight Industries Two Thousand Trans Am’.
  22. It’s not 2005 anymore.
