  1. Sounds like it might be one of the main relays. Not sure which one it might be and I don't have the wiring diagrams to hand right now.
  2. I don't think so, it plays deliberately dumb on everything except steering and parking distance and waits for the driver to decide what they're doing.
  3. No. The system activates below 30 km/h which means it starts using the parking sensors to check the length of spaces as you pass them to find one long enough. It then prompts you to stop, select reverse and the car takes over steering while you manage gears/accelerator. When you've gone as far back as you can, you get prompted to drive forward and the car continues steering. When the car decides it's parked it tells you to stop moving and it returns steering control to the driver.
  4. And I've given you some suggestions on things to check. This is not a problem I have ever seen come up here, so I doubt anyone is going to have a solution right away. You'll have to work through it bit by bit.
  5. You have to be travelling at 30 km/h or less for it to work. According to the manual (p. 121) 'Speed too Low' comes up if you have not exceeded 10 km/h since the ignition was switched on. The system requires ESP to be switched on and functioning correctly, so check that for errors. It also gets messed up if it can't detect wheel speed correctly, e.g. one wheel is a different size.
  6. Battery management needing coding on the Superb 2 was only included on models with start stop as far as I know. A lot of the control modules get upset when battery voltage drops too low but the warnings will reset when the voltage gets back to normal. Any functions related to steering require you to turn the wheel lock to lock to recalibrate the steering angle sensor. All of the OPs warnings fall into this category.
  7. Those two wires I mentioned are the only ones connecting the microphone to the nav unit. Any other cables on that connector are doing other jobs and must be left in place.
  8. So having had a quick look, I can only see one microphone listed for the Superb in the parts catalogue. It should connect to a 12 pin connector at the head unit, on pins 1 (black) & 7 (white), connecting to pins 1 (black) & 2 (white) on the microphone. The rest of that 12 pin connector is going to the BT module.
  9. I'd suggest getting the wiring diagrams from https://erwin.skoda-auto.cz/erwin/showHome.do An hour's subscription will probably be enough to get what you need, but a day would give you a bit more time to navigate around. You'll need your VIN. TBH I'd be really surprised if the microphones were different, it's probably a wiring issue.
  10. Why didn't you just plug in the existing microphone?
  11. There are probably empty slots on the fuse panel switched live track that you could use if you got the appropriate fuse terminal to slot in.
  12. Probably dead antenna. OE sharkfin is around €90 and easy to fit.
  13. Looking at the wiring diagrams, there's no switched live available at the stereo, only permanent .
  14. If I'm not mistaken, the stock radio on these gets ignition status via CANBUS rather than a switched live input on the wiring harness, so there may not be a switched live at the connector at all. A good way to check is probe the different pins for voltage with ignition on and off and see if any of them switch on with the ignition.
  15. If I switch mine off in media player mode, it powers back on in the same one. Mind you I don't use BT as a media source, just an SD card.
  16. This is what mine looks like hitched up and loaded for a trip. It's sitting higher than yours is with nothing loaded.
  17. I think a lot of the estates got the weight range 6 springs, which are not up to the job even without a caravan on the back. I didn't realise this when I went to replace mine. Since then I fitted a pair of MAD helper springs and it's much better. I've summarised all the rear end configurations in the thread linked below. I'm towing a 1.4 tonne caravan and performance from the CR170 is fine, quite a bit slower than without it but still more than enough not to be a nuisance to other drivers.
  18. Check the immobiliser system. If it's not working, the car will start and run briefly then cut out.
  19. If you cut a slot in the plate it can be fitted without removing the bearing.
  20. This is the Superb 2 forum, you have a Superb 3.
  21. Search for videos on towbar fitting and you'll find them, that's what I was doing when I took that picture. It's a bit of work to get in there as you have to remove a bunch of other stuff first.
  22. It shouldn't move every time if you have matched the key to your settings. To match the key, move the seat and mirrors to your preferred position, store it in one of the memory slots then remove the key from the ignition and press the unlock button (don't open the door before you do that). If you hear a ding from the instruments, you have paired the key to that seat memory and the car will automatically adjust to your position if necessary when you unlock. Repeat for any other keys used by other drivers.
  23. What issue are you having?
  24. That's the ride height sensor - needed for the headlights to adjust the level correctly.
