  1. Will and Rob are top blokes. I'm surprised Will never tried to tempt you into a TTV3! lol If you were planning to go beyond stage 1 then I would have recommended the BCS downpipe or Trackslag 4" downpipe, both are expensive however the craftmanship is to none. The turbo should give you a solid 400bhp if you did go beyond stg1. Sadly not many people cater for the Superb for a full exhaust system, mostly here are custom built. Was toying of the idea of getting a Milltek cat back system for a VW Arteon, which in theory should fit with some modification.
  2. Just luck to be honest. It was from a friend of friend who selling them.
  3. 🤣 Clearly I never paid no where that! I even paid less than the Racing Line 4 pots!
  4. lol just paint them and put some stickers on them.
  5. No, not required tbh. I would just upgrade the rear brake pads.
  6. I've just noticed this morning that my passenger side door mirror wasn't folded in but the driver side was. So tried opening the door side door and that was locked however the passenger side door opened and the alarm went off as they key was still in the house. So based in this thread I'm assuming that my passenger side door lock need replacing! I've got a MK3 Superb and Im hoping it using the same door lock as I'm planning to do it myself. Found the part number for the Passenger side: 5TC837015, only £60 and probably about 2-3 hours to strip and install .
  7. I've got a Tarox 8 pot fitted Front TAROX Brake Kit - Skoda Octavia Mk3 - KMAU0964 - TAROX Online Store
  8. TBH 480bhp is overkill! I wish I did a stage 1 or maximum stage 2 as currently the car is ridiculously fast, there is never enough road and also there no safe place to put the foot down unless its on the motorway and you are overtaking. Yours is tuned to the perfect level as I would say 400 - 430bhp is plenty for the road. My mistake was I always desired a car which was as fast RS3/4/ M3 however could never afford one of those. in hindsight I wish I had saved the money! lol oh well Good luck with the sale.
  9. Nice clean car! Have you got the standard cat-back exhaust? if so I'm impressed with the power and doesn't seem as restrictive as previously thought
  10. I had a P7 delaminate its thread whilst on a dyno and then blow out! Scary experience for the tuner, he's nerves were shot when he came out of the car! Luckily he's already bald!
  11. I had a Quaife LSD in mines, that made a huge difference.
  12. Stunning car! I do missed my MK2 VRS. Yours is screaming a K04 conversion!
  13. Upgrade the pads and you should be fine.
  14. Lol fun it is however watching the fuel needle drop in real time isn't! I would say stage 1 is plenty as it's the best value for money and performance gains. Stage 3 is good but not worth the outlay tbh.
  15. Fantastic result! Well done on the restoration!
  16. Strangely enough mines has started doing the same! Its ok over speed bump, its when the ground is uneven and the car is unsettled! The creaking is most likely to be your top mounts when they replaced the front shocks!
  17. True! When my car was at JBS for tuning in December, they quoted me £550 with an INA Branded one at that time.
  18. Wow that's expensive! I was quoted £599 first then sawed the local mechanic that I can buy the part for £300.
  19. Just paid £490 for a new thermostat housing and waterpump fitted - INA brand and coolant. which can be bought from Autodoc for £300. TPS are selling a genuine one for £405.
  20. Welcome! What coincidence as we were just finalising booking a holiday to holiday August! Check out this thread for the B6's: As for the steering wheel, ebay or www.cars-equipment.com
  21. The option would be for B6 DCC shocks or Koni ones with springs in that case. Coilovers will lower it too much from the rear.
  22. VCDs is more comprehensive gives the best functionality. However OBD11 is great for quickness and allows you do most mods with messing up the parameters! I have both, I mostly use OBD11 for the reason above.
  23. Unfortunately not! I've got a 280 and had mines replaced about 5 months ago at c 70k. It's has started leaking again and getting it replaced again under the parts warranty.
  24. Check for Thermostat housing\water pump being replaced as this is a common fault.
  25. You are so bling bling ! I cant wait to get rid of the chrome!
