  1. It maybe there was damage to the grill as the bottom trim in the bumper is still black along with the side trims as well as the mirrors.
  2. The issue is no one in the UK is doing this mod yet! There has been quite done in Australia though.
  3. Was quoted £180 for a new bcm fitted and you can buy a 2nd hand DCC controller from ebay from £60+
  4. Could be a coilpack on its way out hopefully thats all.
  5. A throttle controller is probably the best simplest upgrade on the Superb. It's a 2nd hand bargain.
  6. Not much out there which can offer what the Superb does! If only there was a RS version! 😆
  7. If you have a sunroof then most likely the drain pipe is blocked and needs cleaning. There is thread covering this in the forum.
  8. CJX is a Gen 3 engine with a IHI IS38 turbo.
  9. 😄 When did I say expensive! Instead of going for bargain budget tyres go for mid range which have tried n tested like Nankang or Kumho ideally in that category i would go for Uniroyals or Hankooks
  10. I'm not saying that it's not possible however it would very rare as here in the UK we usually get shafted on options/spec along with higher prices in comparison with Europe.
  11. Lucky guy! I would say that in the UK it would be a rare case of getting that engine here
  12. I think he's asking if anyone who has a Superb FL can check if it has the E888 Gen 4 engine with the Continental turbo rather the Gen 3, and to share the engine code! Very unlikely in any case to have a Gen4 engine in the FL.
  13. Is the screen resolution better on the touch screen display (3V0919606D) compared the older button version (3V0919606)?
  14. Why would you buy cheap tyres when it's the most vital component to keep you in contact with the road, especially in handling and braking!
  15. LOL only the ebay link works, the Amazon links revert back to this page!
  16. Im planning on buying some 19's Assy 6 aswell. Currently running on 18s with PIrellis P Zeros so hoepfully wont get worst than this! What tyres did you have before the Goodyears?
  17. So this could be the potential solutions if the part made out of plastic is leaking! https://www.akstuning.co.uk/shop/home/1996-project-9-mqb-ea888x-billet-water-coolant-fitting.html?fbclid=IwAR0KztFwPqZWYS46RiJfb4qUSMo7VaJRRt2Zp9qYWwsfpxbHYQQBxaVg6U8
  18. £285 each from Autodoc, Meat & Doria brand.
  19. Isn't the creaking more to do with the top mounts rather than the bushes?
  20. it did initially as I couldn't find anything, then John pointed me in the right direction.
  21. FYI, The DCC controller part number is 5Q0907376C not 5Q0907367C. 🙂
  22. Common issue across the petrol range. The resolution is to by a Throttle controller like the Pedal Box or EVC throttle controller. I've bought the EVC one and its made such a difference, the throttle response is near instant depending on setting. TBH it's a must for the Superb TSI. I'm assuming as the diesel range has more torque low down it doesnt suffer as much.
  23. Which tyres have you got? That will play a big part on steering feedback. it all depends how much you spend/how badly you want to improve it! These are a few upgrades that you can do after the tyres: Front Anti- roll Front Strut Brace Uprated Poly Bushes Camber adjustment kit
  24. Search for superskoda in google.
