  1. Hi All I'm trying to see/source an upgrade for the Low pressure fuel pump for the 280 AWD. The fuel basket part no is 3Q0919051B and would the same as the B8 Passat/ Arteon 280 AWD. The fuel basket & fuel lines is a different sent up to the Golf R so there is very limit information about, Ideally looking a Uprated LPFP which would handle 600bhp+ . Have contacted Galano Engineering in Austrailia who have managed to do one for the Superb but haven't got any in stock and don't know when the next batch will be. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
  2. I forgot to mentioned that I'm also using a 10mm spacer!
  3. I'm using 245/45/18 whilst lowered on coilovers and can confirm there is no scrapping, even with a full load. So if you are standard suspension then you shouldn't have no issues at all.
  4. I think any DQ381 will need to be coded in to match your car as it has a immobiliser in it. I can ask around if you like and see how much it would cost in total including fitting and recoding.
  5. I think the ideal offset would be around ET30 as Im running 10mm spacers on coilovers aswell. I may upgrade to 15mm spacer and see how it looks.
  6. A used DQ381 will cost between £1200 - £1500 plus fitting and oil service. Just beware that there was a Technical bulletin issues which prompt the dealers to update the software which in turned lead to many DQ381 failing. The resolution going i think is to change the pump and filter at the same time of the software update. Pity yours hasnt got the DQ250 as Im upgrading mines to a DQ500 and will be up for sell in the next few weeks, I have the TVS stage 3 software on the DQ250
  7. I returned mines a few months but it was £109! What I found was the phone battery use to drain a lot quicker
  8. Super pro don't list these arms as a replacement for the Superb, was the length the same? Someone on FB Australia group followed your advice but arms were shorter, lost camber and the front of the car was raised!
  9. Are the Superpro arms lighter than OEM? Have you notice any difference in camber? Mines is creaking like nobodies business especially from the rear - I'd be interested in the MQB alloy control arms as an upgrade. I do have B16 Coilovers with Whiteline ARB's, which I believe the installer never greased the bushes as the kit didnt come with some!
  10. The other common issue is the waterpump and thermostat housing starts leaking
  11. So got some more information - The Aux fluid pump on the gearbox failed after a software update. This only affected cars from 2017-2018.
  12. I'm thinking of upgrading my DQ250 to DQ381 soon. Been told by a tuner that the DQ381 were failing due to a software update from 2018. All issues have been resolved in DSG's from 2020.
  13. Did you buy the SACH top mount with bearings? A great OEM upgrade is to swap out your top mounts for this upgrade kit, the parts included in the kit are originally fitted to the MQB platform MK3 TT models including TT, TTS, TTRS and also 8V1/8V2 RS3. However they can be retrofitted to any of MQB platform vehicles - NOTE the list doesn't specify the Superb only the Octavia MK3 but Im sure i installed some from a Golf R with my coilovers. 14. Just as a comparison, I'm running 480bhp in 280 and i get 19-20 mpg around town and between 20-28 mpg on the motorway depending on my foot!
  15. What I noticed is that with the throttle controller and a stg3 remap my fuel consumption isn't great when driving normally. I've switched the Throttle Contoller off and its seems to be better!
  16. I did that mod before the remap, it did make a slight difference but not to elminate the lag!
  17. It's not the lag from the turbo spool, ive got a bigger turbo and it's still there! It's the way Skoda have setup the files in the ECU map in comparison to a Golf R - the files setup different and only a handful tuners in the know can tune them correctly tbh. I still get some hesitation low down in "normal/drive" mode when i push the throttle down - it's like the car is thinking a few secs to make a decision! This is with and without the throttle controller.
  18. What i found is that without the throttle controller or set to 0, the throttle responds better as its been mapped. With the throttle controller it felt there was lag. I would definitely recommend a throttle controller to anyone who hasn't or doesn't to go down the remapping route.
  19. I think I maybe selling my EVC throttle controller soon as I found that i dont need it now thats it been remapped.
  20. I've got a Samsung Galaxy Note 20
  21. I returned my AAwireless as it was killing the battery on the phone and plus it wouldnt automatic connect to it so just sticking to the wired solution.
  22. Which wireless charger.?
  23. No one at the moment. I did ask Julian if he could do remotely but he said he'll ask his friend over here to test it but he hadn't got round to it.
  24. VW Retrofit - Retrofitting for VW, Audi, Seat & Skoda Cars in Redditch (vw-retrofit.co.uk) Maybe a bit far but they do re calibrations and a lot less than the main dealers. As for the headlight, better off just buying a 2nd hand one rather than attempting to replace the cover.
  25. Too bad no one in the UK can offering this atm.
