i cant help with camera advice. However, how old is your daughter? that list isnt a child being bullied, shes being actively targeted for harm. is it the same 2/3 scrotes all the time or is it widespread? i presume the school is being utterly unhelpful and useless about the entire saga, but surely the cops have been involved aswell?

bump - is it a diesel or a petrol?

i have noticed more and more diesel jettas getting the boy racer treatment around here recently too.. nothing like a bog standard 1.6tdi dragging its arse around and rubbing tyres on wheel arches

because they only have have very vague and limited access to a dataset of parts. theres also the problem of "platform sharing =/= correct". ie, a mk1 octy and mk4 golf - the shocks for a golf will fit the octy as same chassis but my god the ride will be terrible, and its a minefield to make sure youre not getting the wrong ones as most ECP etc parts olaces havent a notion theres any difference, and its particularly difficult to get matching rear suspension as this is where the most weight/load difference is across models on same chassis. again, look in the mk1 octy section for how many people over the yrs have ended up with saggy arses because they were sold/bought the wrong springs/dampers because they were listed as "this will fit". send pete your vin by PM and he'll confirm what you Should have fitted ex factory. adverse performance issues are - if they arent the load rating for your specific vehicle they may ride fine for a while but fail prematurely. or they may not ride well at all in certain conditions. good road wont notice it but get on the back roads you could be be banging around the place or feel like your in a boat rolling in the ocean waves.

in fairnes thats nice... can keep the led colour the same as the green dash lighting. i hate blue, driving at night its more distracting

holy ****e its my identical dashboard, which i reckon yours is another of the 2013 end of production "exclusive" spec? where in the Rep are you? im in Sth Tipp. on the actual actual question... where would you like to be plugging in the phone? id probably just take the power from the Cig lighter wiring and run a cable through the dash/centre console to somewhere near where you want the output available i have a double usb cig lighter adapter thats a good tight fit and havnt had any bother with it for over 5yrs now.

i dont underatand why frwnch gearboxes in particular have to be so mushy, when there are so many other better drive trains available that they could copy.

here it is, in all its pale lavender metallic "glory".. ****box. drove it from Dryden to Dunbarton asda, it sounds awful under acceleration, its rolly and floppy in the bends, and brakes are.. not great really. even my FIL said (he came for the spin) he was disappointed with how it felt as a passenger given Citroën always had really good suspension. also the aircon is absolutely abysmal. i did manage to turn off the lane departure though, so that was quieter

well, @@Lee skirted the closest with his comment... i am currently driving .... a 20 plate ****roën C3 Aircross. 6speed manual - just as terrible a gearbox as every other french car/van ive ever driven. and ill be telling them the wheels need balancing when i drop it back, theres a definite steering vibration at motorway speed, not terrible, but present. lane departure beeps near constantly on narrow scottish b roads, so thats getting turned off today, didnt get to look around for the setting last night. overall, i dint like it so far!

yup, theres a fuseholder on octavia battery. that youre getting 2 abs and one "battery" fault, id go with Pete's easy check first. check all the fuses. if its not those, ABS pump itself might be dying. whatthe details on your mk1? engine code, age, spec etc?

not always.... i had an injector changed with no codes showing just last week as it wasnt a full failure, just dying

the Mk1 Fabia sub section of the forum. this thread was posted in the mk1 Octavia section, thus why you were getting advice on those above i had a feeling when you mention 1.9 litre, and coming from a Clio that you may have been talking about a Fabia instead, as there is no diesel Octavia mk1 vrs, only the 1.8T petrol, likewise the mk1 Fabia vrs was diesel only. Mk2 has the petrol and diesel options.
