  2. Best go do more research. Try the threads on this forum.
  3. They haves that can afford much more than average uses or low users are the ones that should be getting energy turned down via smart meters. Joined up technology, how many registered at an address, council tax, voters roll, HMRC. How many homes in the Home Counties is the question ? As it is ranges and Stoves for cooking and heating be it solid fuel or gas is the want of many, not just those with their own woodland and windfall.
  4. It will be, but where? Probably where all those cozy someplace inside on a computer telling others on a computer someplace inside how cold it is and how much energy costs and how keeping the lights on is costly.
  5. 7 hours with the 3 pin cable gives me 16 kWh into the battery. Car set at 10amp max.
  6. Put on a jumper or a hat. Or an extra bar on the fire, stoke up the real coal fire and drop the temperature in the Horse Stables & swimming pool a few degrees.
  7. http://gridwatch.co.uk http://electricityproduction.uk/in/scotland The Government like to speak about 'This Country' as do the Media. So as long as it is England and not Scotland , Wales or Northern Ireland that gets Blacked Out if it can not buy in enough gas to generate electricity. Just as well the weather is away to be hotter this week and when winter weather hits again it might not be England cold for 1 week. ? How much energy has England needed per capita in this past week compared to the Rest of the UK? North Sea Oil & Gas is not a cheap product for the UK to buy in. We all pay a lot for clearing up nuclear and to build the new nuclear plants which are in England. No knew nuclear in Scotland and the one nuclear power station in Scotland might see the next 5 years its life is extended and then EDF will not pay for the clean up.
  8. Somebody will be along that knows if 12 or 13 litres. Sounds about right.
  9. How many miles have you done since? My 2016 2.0 TDI SCR DSG Seat Alhambra dropped @ 500 miles or went down by 500 miles maybe 700-1,000 miles later.. After so long it started sipping AdBlue and dropped less often. It was after a few fill up of AdBlue that it showed more and more range.
  10. If i go with Renault for my next car it will be the simpler and less faffing about model. Less shiny black plastic trim to be messed up on winter roads and sensible wheels a tyre sizes and enough power on a 60 mph NSL road IMO.
  11. @mumpsim The point is that @KH2275 has one behaving as designed to for Skoda to have the WLTP Certification on emissions.
  12. ^^^ That would be a manual then if there is a clutch pedal. @KH2275 posted about a 1.5 TSI ACT DSG. 2024 Mk2 Kodiaq.
  13. That is Stop / Start as you roll to a halt at low speed. Just touch the accelerator slightly to stop it happening, or disable Stop / Start maybe in town or at certain locations.
  14. Under £150, the last one i bought was £120 with a long cable.
  15. I would have a good independent or yourself or a friend check the Brakes, *discs and pads* now. Sadly up-selling can have owners / customers distrusting Main Dealers. If they are at it be sure to talk to the Dealer Principle and the Master Tech, not Service Desk Staff or a Workshop / service manager. Is the recommended servicing up to date? Servicing brakes is Simply Clever, not just always replacing parts. Main Dealers do not service brakes unless paid. Has the brake fluid been changed? More important has inspections or look see,s done like a Air Filter @ 4 years or each year not at 6 years.
  16. 'If you want to get ahead get a hat'. The drama of it all. Should he be taking out your car if it can not get places where there is snow on the ground like maybe a car park?
  17. @Graham Butcher What do you actually want, just everything as it is or back to what it was? Can you not just carry on as you were surely as far as the world allows you to.
  18. World leaders are not caring what so random person in the UK thinks is relevant.
  19. @Sarthak I see you are in India and this is a 2022 TSI, so is this the car coming up for only it's 3rd service? I see you say servicing June / July time and runs fast til December then feels a little sluggish. I know nothing about your region so is the Petrol the same all year and is that 95 octane, & is the weather / temperatures and the humidity the same in January as it is in July?
