  1. @Oct@via13 Maybe i should have just asked, when were the Spark Plugs last replaced. & not about a Full Service, which should include many things. When was the Air Filter looked at for clean / dry, or last changed? As far as @J.R., we used to at school get upity about things about mothers and usually it wasa wind up. Our mums were not dead.
  2. @Oct@via13 What was done at a FULL SERVICE? Oil & Filter, Air Filter, Cabin Filter, Brake service including brake fluid change. Spark Plugs replaced, hinges greased, full inspection, road test etc etc!
  3. Some ridiculous comments being made to the vid by those without a clue. Also ones from the more informed.
  4. Left foot braking can be an issue with a DSG as in only OK as long as only the brake or accelerator should be used and the 2 pedals can not and should not be which can happen if not careful.
  5. Welcome. There is a Lemon law in Australia is there not. Known issues, Fundamental design, manufacturing, material hardware or software issues and it is VW Group / Skoda that know. DQ381,s. The growing number of failures is unbelievable. You might need to use the law in Australia. Or maybe they do the right thing. In Europe VW Group appear to not be concerned about an consumers, laws or reputation.
  6. The **** has already hit the fan with VW Group and how easy Data has been available on vehicles and location and all sorts of infringements of the supposedly strict privacy laws in Germany. & to think the Governments were worried about China.
  7. ? What engine has the car and what year is it. EDIT, Sorry i see 2021. Coasting is when the Car puts the DSG so that it is not in gear and to put it back in you touch the accelerator or brake pedal. The car is freewheeling. Happens when no load on the engine. 'Eco' can be different with a ACT engine and cylinder deactivation.
  8. There are many points being made that are fair enough. Important stuff. There are things being discussed many places with agencies and various authorities about the issues covered & BEV,s are certainly not suitable for all and maybe not suit those with disabilities be them drivers or passengers.
  9. 'High humidity' unlikely to be the anything to do with the issue while cold starting in the UK.
  10. 'Coasting' mode. Really you need to say what age your car is and what engine so what DSG it has. Is it a 1.5 TSI ACT with a DQ200 7 speed twin dry clutch DSG, or a 1.6 TDI, or a 2.0 TDI or TSI with a wet clutch DSG?
  11. This thread has been repeated in the Superb section.
  12. If you fit in a Yaris then fine, they are too tight a fit for me in comparison to a Fabia. Not little, bear or mummy bear, daddy bear here. PS. MINI 3 door, 1.5 3 cylinder petrol, economic. MINI 5 doors, or Clubman are not short when it comes to parking spaces, but then parking spaces are all the same length. (well nearly all.)
  13. I hope Police Scotland have appropriate tyres fitted to the BEV,s and any other vehicles as winter weather has has finally arrived.
  14. Welcome. Is the gear indicator showing ok that it is in P? Try pressing harder on the BRAKE Pedal. There might be an issue with the Brake Switch / Inhibitor. Just guessing.

  16. @Carlston Maybe best placed to help. He will know about the wheel widths. You really can not just keep picking a number any number/ Going to 18" rims might have been a better plan. There is a Tyre Section or the Superb section so maybe a Mod can move your thread.
  17. I took the opportunity to Fix my tariff for another 12 months when it came up on my 'eon next' account.

  19. Thanks. sorry misread the 140. So what DSG does it have a DQ250 or a DQ381. or as China and some others got a DQ380?
  20. @TerryUnLimited Sorry no help, but What 1.4 TSI is this, has it no ACT and not a PHEV? What DSG is fitted that is the same as on a vRS. Is it a 8 speed Torque Converter gearbox or a 7 speed wet clutch or a 6 speed wet like with a 1.4 TSI PHEV?
  21. Why not ask the Car tuners / remappers in your area or the well known companies with a good reputation? If there is not New Engine Management / maps available then maybe they can try getting into your ECU and develop one on your car. As to a Main Dealership messing about with your property they have in for some servicing and maintenance, what country are you in? Tell them remapped and do not alter. Or why use a Main Dealership since the Warranty has been invalidated on the Engine and Gearbox / drivetrain anyway?
  22. @thamestrader Apples & pears then from the Karoq if not one with a 2.0 TSI or TDI or a 1.5 TSI ACT with Haldex.
