  1. Parts catalogue gives 3B2837016R for your car, which has been superseded by 3B2837016AA.
  2. Must admit though, I have doubts that reusing bolts will have caused a problem, unless not done up tight enough.
  3. Do you know what your engine code is? It looks like these may be the two possible diagrams that will cover them https://www.lllparts.co.uk/catalogs/skoda/CZ/SUP/851/1/199/199010 Or https://www.lllparts.co.uk/catalogs/skoda/CZ/SUP/851/1/199/199011
  4. Doubt it, that would be a LHD unit. I guess you mean driver's side front door lock? Would need reg number or VIN to give a definite PN. Could be a problem with wiring to the lock motor, at A-pillar to door bellows.
  5. Parked on a hill and left in gear, by any chance?
  6. Often a USB-type borescope will have an optional 45° mirror, allowing you to look sideways as well as straight downward. That would probably give enough of a view of valves to see anything grossly abnormal? Can be tricky to see well enough though.
  7. Wasn't thinking it was anything in the door, more the central convenience unit above clutch pedal. Are you in touch with previous owner?
  8. Does it seem to crank over fast, and possibly sound unusual while doing so?
  9. Yeah, not sure about the boot opening, but if the central convenience unit is coded to think it's in a 2/3 door car, and is possibly also from a car without remote central locking, that might explain most of what's occurring. Not sure why vcds lite won't talk to it though, not sure having full version will change that.
  10. Don't suppose you have a VCDS autoscan for the car? Sounds like someone may have replaced a faulty module with one from e.g. a two door Polo?
  11. The 12-valve engines often suffer valve damage if timing correlation is lost, I'm afraid.
  12. Injector problems aren't unheard of in the 1.6 diesels, but I don't know how you'd go about diagnosing such a problem. A fella called @Crasher has considerable professional experience that he might be kind enough to share.
  13. Unlikely I think. What engine type is it?
  14. No. The flexible, convoluted section under that braid has developed a leak.
  15. Ad blu doesn't have anything to do with regeneration even in diesels that use it.
  16. Yes, thanks. Now edited to 8.
  17. Yes, I believe it is. Should match what's on your V5c too.
  18. Share the reg number or VIN with me and I can look it up for you. From experience of a different model, surely a leak at a junction between a pipe and a component is most likely to simply require a replacement o-ring?
  19. Dunno mate, there are repair kits you can buy, but never tried one.
  20. Gearbox code is GSB, clutch is 190mm.
  21. Eating for a bit, back soon.
