Snip Snip...
An early Christmas present then? Let's hope that it is not the hospital (virtual) Christmas party the night before.

Dashboard lighting up like a Christmas tree. Video included
If it is the battery then charging it or replacement should cure most of the lights. A couple may still be lit but a short drive should also see them extinguished.

Windscreen washer pipe
I get this on my Octavia MkII especially in winter when I run a higher ratio of concentrate to water. I think that it comes in through the vents as excess washer fluid is wiped into the scuttle. Is is more pronounced when stationary than when travelling.

USB sockets
Do you have a link to one of the adaptors? They should state what type of USB connector they have normally either Type A, Mini, Micro or Type C.

AutoTrader fake buyers!!!!
@slicendice Do you think that he may have been looking at a few cars and by stringing you along he hoped that you would not sell it to somebody else just in case he did not like, or could not afford, cars that he was looking at before he got to yours?

- Snip Snip...
I seem to remember that they were talking about baguettes- Snip Snip...
I had it done many years ago under a local anaesthetic and I have never regretted it. I remember the 2 female doctors doing it discussing all sorts of run of the mill things whilst they were operating on me. The recovery period was very short and I had no real post surgery pain. I think that I only took paracetamol the day of the operation and I was back at work the following day.- Towing with an Octavia?
Yes, I have just noticed that. Just proves that you should not assume anything.- Towing with an Octavia?
I don't think the Octavia MkII has manoeuvre braking. Mine certainly doesn't as it is possible to slowly reverse into something even though the sensors are telling you that you are too close.- Failed MOT on emissions?
Do you have a copy of the printout from the emissions tester for the MOTs? Your car had 2 on the same day with about 4 miles in between so they might have done a "Italian Tune-up" to try to get the emissions down for the second test. Do you mainly do short urban trips in the car or does it get good runs on 60/70mph roads?- 2.0 TDI brake problem
Do you mean that you feel a slight hesitation when the car starts to go down a steep hill or a similar change in slope? If so then mine also does it and it appears to be a "feature" not a fault and it has nothing to do with you having changed the front brakes. Carista app is available to buy and download from the Google Play Store (I don't know whether it is available for Apple devices). You can use it with a generic OBDII bluetooth module. As I do not live in Nigeria I do not know what sources you have for the bluetooth module.- diagnostic device
