  1. Mine is a 2023 and I get the same message even though all mk4 have atleast 2 LTE antennas
  2. Just fitted one of these for the sole purpose of not having to switch the drive mode into individual every time I start the car and it works perfectly. Not cheap but worth it for me.
  3. That fixed it, cheers 😎
  4. Connect your car to your home wifi, that was the only way I could do it.
  5. According to this there are 3 LTE antennas in the Octavia MK4, one in the roof and two behind the rear bumper… https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/skoda-world/innovation-and-technology/this-is-your-car-can-you-hear-me/
  6. Installed this yesterday with no issues. Though one minor thing I’ve noticed is I get a notification the manuals have been updated every time I start the car. I had 4 at one point, cleared them and it just keeps coming back…
  7. Interesting, so does this mean the government mandated SOS module will no longer function as this surely uses the mobile network?
  8. That's normal in very cold/frosty conditions, it's because the camera is obstructed and just needs and bit of warmth and wiping with the wipers. Like you've found it clears after driven a short distance.
  9. Same here, my vRS has the hole but no led in it. I wonder if there is a Skoda or VW part number for the led that fits….
  10. Have you tried pressing the on/off button on the bottom left?
  11. Thats what i did with mine but mine is a 2023 so may be different to yours.
  12. Traffic sign recognition is available to buy on the Skoda shop either through the phone app or infotainment
  13. Nope, you need two keys. Who’s got the original second key? That would be my worry
  14. You locked your wife in the car, how is that a software bug or skoda’s issue? Most if not all modern cars have deadlocks so if you lock it with the remote it cannot be unlocked from the inside, that’s the whole point.
  15. Yes mine has occasionally done this too, probably 4 or 5 times in the year i've had it.
  16. The vRS has 262bhp now anyway
  17. I've owned 4 cars with stop/start, done ~60k miles in each over a 4 year period and never had one battery fail....
  18. I've had my '73 plate vRS TSI for 1 year and 15k miles this week, and other that a one off Check engine light that went off after a few days it's been flawless. None issues other people have been seeing.
  19. Park assist used to be standard in the UK on the vRS but was dropped during the semiconductor shortage...
  20. It means the interior lights won't come on when the doors are unlocked. It's actually a button, touch it to change state. It's operation is explained in the owners manual.
  21. Not in the mk4 they're not. Is yours a mk3?
