Tyre Pressures provided are wrong
The online info is wrong. It does say it is only a guide and you should use those in the fuel flap. So why don't you believe the ones in the fuel flap on the car that will be the correct ones?

Annoying crunch noise over speed bumps
It'll be the suspension arm bushes... and the rubber in them. A shot of spray grease should sort it for a while but it'll come back eventually.

Front assist (collision avoidance) braked out of the blue. What could have caused it?
As far as I'm aware it's standard fit across the range regardless. Our 2018 SE certainly has it

Haldex and other service items
Isn't the timing belt on the 1.4tsi a 120,000km one in other countries? Personally at that low mileage I'd be tempted to leave it a bit.
- Replacement windscreen washer pump is leaking

blower fan stopped - completely.
It'll be a seized fan Mac ... Had it on ours a few years ago before we got rid. Easy fix though as the fan and motor drop out no issue in the passenger footwell. A bit of WD40 and then a squirt of spray grease and it should free up ok

I had that yesterday in our Kodiaq approaching a cattle grid... I can you assume the grid reflected that front radar in such a way that it thought it was another stationary vehicle

Smart Motorway
Indeed... I've done high speed road safety training and they always drill I to you that if you have an issue or a breakdown on the motorway, smart or not, you get out of the car on the left in the UK and get back well behind the safety barrier as soon as possible... No messing about, no faffing with the car and staying nowhere near the barrier but 20 to 30 yards away and up any embankment etc.

Water leak
Looking at that picture and what I've investigated leak-wise on ours in the past I'd say that is definitely the culprit. Chances are the clips that hold it in place were broken when the camera was fitted. Dry it and seal round all four sides of that and I reckon you'll have the leak fixed

Guess the Hire Car.... Mac's 2019 game
He he... Changing the language is the first thing I do in any hire car... Can be a bit of a challenge at times

Guess the Hire Car.... Mac's 2019 game
Wasn't expecting a mini review... Thanks. Sounds like a pretty decent bit of kit for the money. Autos annoy me for that reason too but the 1.5 might be better?

Guess the Hire Car.... Mac's 2019 game
I'm intrigued to hear what you think of it as I've seen mixed reviews. My neice loved her MG3 until the cam chain stretched...

Guess the Hire Car.... Mac's 2019 game
Sooo. You ordered a karoq or simar... So did you actually get a karoq?

Anyone fitted higher profile tyres to their Sportline?
As with others the comment that your wife is kerbing the alloys on the school run on narrow roads suggests she is probably trying to get through gaps against oncoming traffic that aren't there and that she maybe needs a smaller car, or to be more patient, or even to park somewhere further away and walk the last bit?? Not quite sure how you'd raise that with her though...

Wiper blade not touching the glass
I get that regularly on my Suzuki but less so on the Skodas. It simply means that the curvature of the blade doesn't match the scree and they need dismantling and the steel 'springs' either side of the rubber blade adjusting and bending a bit more so they touch the screen.

Lower back pain
That physiomed guide is a good one and similar to one I've had for years. It gives very good guidance on how to adjust your seat and support your back to avoid pain - far too many people sit too upright or laid back when driving. For reference I have a herniated disc in my lower back as well as shot joints in knees and ankles but after doing some proper adjustment of seats and knowing what is needed I very rarely now have issues when driving (old Vauxhall and Honda seats were rubbish but most seats these days are good if properly adjusted - don't get me started on plane seats though - I think they are designed to be specifically uncomfortable).

Odd button
To me that's definitely an aftermarket front parking sensor switch and, if it's anything like others I've seen when the light on the switch is iluminated the sensors will be active.

Porsche Boxster 2025
Is that a new one??? It looks like every other Porsche??

Help - Levelling lights MAD springs
Definitely check the sensors are ok and working. I think if one fails the lights default to their lowest aim settings
-
bulbs
I switched to osram night breaker 150s on our Kodiaq which helped but the biggest improvement was from raising the aim to the upper limit as they were far too low initially

Kodiaq roof lining colour
Just thinking about the sunroofs... have they fixed the leaking issue with them yet?

Subaru rival (Haldex and general skoda modding advice)
Yanking on the handbrake won't kick in the 4wd as the car will know your yanked the handbrake on. If your going with making your own biodiesel or using stuff like chippie oil then go PD and probably 1.9 as a CR won't cope. Pre-FL are all PD, face-lift are CR either 2.0 or 1.6. For info a pd 105 can be mapped to 140. A pd140to 185 with the dpf removed and, as its euro 4 will still pass an MOT.

Subaru rival (Haldex and general skoda modding advice)
Haldex modification - not much as far as I can tell and in my experience. Locks in 4wd - no it has no diff locks. It might be possible via VCDS but unsure. FWD only - pre facelifts were exactly that until wheel slip was detected at which point the Haldex kicked in and they became 4wd DPF's - no 1.9TDI's didn't have a dpf but 2.0TDi's did Non-scout 4x4's come in both 1.9 105 and 2.0 140 flavours, the latter with dpf's
