Hi folks. Just wondering if someone could get me a measurement from floor to bottom of neck of the westfalia detachable. A measurement of wheel centre to top of arch for reference would be good. Mines got a pct detachable fitted and the lowest point of the neck seems too near the floor for my liking.

on a ramp i would be disappointed if i couldn't do the brakes job in under 90 mins. front shocks no more than an 30 mins each being as wheels will be off already etc. stone guards are a 5 min job once the discs are off. if the £500 labour includes vat it isnt too bad, if its plus vat then they are taking the pee.

My my14 l&k is registered as an elegance but is a full l&k. Has wing badges, embossed leather and piano black trim.

In which case if there isn't a module under front of drivers seat then you don't have Bluetooth

looks like you have an rns315 head unit? are there any bluetooth settings in the menus?

As they are needing tyres they are almost worthless in my opinion. Not the most popular wheel either.

Refurb costs around £100 a wheel to get diamond cut and approx £85 a tyre for decent ones. So that's £740, I think they have very little value. You also need to be a paid member to advertise.

The 85% this is plain stupid. Kerb weight is just that, most people load the car up more when going away so the weight is higher. Cars also have much improved brakes, suspension and active stability systems. Team. That with alko atc and hitch and I'd be quite happy at 100%.

Really difficult job, I just did the same job on my superb 4x4. Half shafts really limit options. I used an 18in breaker bar in the end to crack them. No way of getting an impact tool in.

Have you tried connecting to Bluetooth via the mfd menu?

Easy swap then. You'll get some warning lights on for steering and esp but drive a few yards and it'll be sorted.

To add some info to this. Just replaced the original rear shocks and springs in my 2013 170 4x4 combi. Had standard chassis with weight range 7 springs as the pics show. Replaced with bilstein b3 springs and b4 shocks. Bilstein b4 number 19-151069 Bilstein b3 number 36-148257 Drives really nicely and sitting at correct ride height.

Unlikely to be a fuse.

If you order westfalia they include it, 9r they do on their ebay page. I've bought 2 transporter kits and the superb and its always been included. The ebay listing even says they include it.
