  2. Urrell, I think he said GREY. ☺️
  3. My Yeti was a March 2017 OUTDOOR SE Drive 2Ltr SCR Diesel. Matterhorn alloy wheels Heated front screen Heated front seats Front and rear parking sensors Cloth trim seats black with diamond shape pattern in the seats, with white stitching. Sat Nav But no led daytime lights or main lights.
  4. You could try changing the oil to a little heavier grade & see if that changes anything. Or try chucking in a can of STP, you have nothing to loose either way. At that mileage it could also be the valve lifters as they are oil fed.
  5. But are they sure? Before you go ahead with any suggestions, always have a back up agreement with the dealer. If any item they suggest isn't the answer, you need it removing, & not paying for it. They are supposed to be able to diagnose correctly, not guess. Could always try a second hand part from breakers????

You can check here.. Which Oil Do You Need? Miller Oils (millersoils.co.uk) But I would be ok with that seeing you already have it. Don't forget the oil filter as well.
  7. Yes two of them.....🤣🤣
  8. I removed a Golf injector couple of months back & found, cleaning up the area with brake cleaner first. Sprayed some WD40 round the shaft of the injector. Spanner onto the hex part & gently kept moving back & forth. Started moving & lifted both 1 & 2 injectors. Thorough clean up of injector hole & replaced. 1 hour job.
  9. So what is the Suzuki like compared to the Yeti.??
  10. Then you have a Fuel Pump problem.
  11. Might help if you put some fuel in the tank.
  12. Glencraig, what did the dealer offer you against trade in for the new Koraq??
  13. When I had my 2014 1.6 Greenline I was getting on long runs well over 50/55mpg. Up to 40mpg on shortish runs. I found it very economical. I never had the VW remap change done. But what I had noticed with the new generation of Diesels is, you have to drive them like they are petrol engines. So, don't change up too early. My wife still pulls away & into second before 15mph. No good, you really need to make the engine work. With the 2Lt having a bit more power can cope with that, but it's not good. Try it driving up through the revs more.
  14. Has it ever had a new Cam Belt fitted??? When was the Fuel Filter last changed??
  15. Initially that sounded like a belt had frayed & part of the belt is slapping on its cover as its rotating. Very difficult to diagnose that from the video.
  16. Its for the Kids, to stop them from getting bored when you have broken down. 🤣
  17. Any help................ Frequently asked questions Wiko Y82 (wikomobile.com)

This sort of thing can end up being costly, as is it the master, or the slave. Most of the time it ends up as guess work. I would at this stage, remove the master & thoroughly look at it, even removing the boot that covers the push rod hole, & check there. (also for any leaks) Also check the clevis pin for wear, that's if this model has one. Remove the push rod with the piston that carriers the seals, check seals & the internal bore of the cylinder. If the bore shows any sign of wear, then replace the cylinder, which to me is the problem.. Good luck. Ps. Have a look at this........
  19. Yes, and just let him know that you also have a Skoda Enyaq. 🤣🤣
  20. Really. Who on earth recommended that? Try not to drive in 2nd gear @ 3500 for 45+ minutes again... For the cost involved replace the thermostat.
  21. Well spotted Urrell. "Also I think there’s more engine fumes going into the cabin from the air vents?" "and an intermittently broken back windscreen wiper" Both these items you describe are extremely difficult to prove or disprove. If you go elsewhere to have your rear wiper rectified, hopefully they will tell you what the problem is and why. If then it can be proved that it was due to the accident then this can be retro added to the insurance co at a later date, & you should be reimbursed. Good luck.
  22. Are you filling the new filter with diesel before re-connecting the feed pipes.??
  23. 1st thing I would do is, go back to the garage and ask for your £60 back. But agree with Urrell, door post wiring first place to start. Also check the connections on the hazard light switch.
  24. The drive shaft being or showing wear would not normally do that, (moved to the left and after some time it moved to the right) I would go for tyre pressures first, then, maybe a suspect tyre problem. But this is all guess work , as not seeing or driving your car. Alternatively, if the Rear tyres are good, change the Fronts to the rear, & rears to front. That should rule out any tyre problem. Of course, getting a proper 4 wheel alignment check would also help.
  25. That is not a bad repair at all, seeing it was done on your driveway. I'd be very happy with that. 🙂
