  1. We had that a few years ago. Just looked at the report...I reported it back in Feb 2020, one month still left in warranty. Fortunately I had reported this fault whilst still under warranty. At the time, they said they did a (Software update) to the fuel gauge/fuel pump. Then of course it started doing the same again. (December 2020). The report stated, Found bent pins on fuel pump. New fuel pump fitted. This time it was replaced under the warranty, as I had already reported it. So it could be possible that you have the same problem???
  2. eBay item number:262247697355 And one for the rear window.
  3. Don't forget to check the voltage of the camera. You may need one of these.. CPT voltage converter Plus a piggy back fuse. All fit neatly in the fuse box area.
  4. wexti, would be good if you can photo the a fending area. May be an idea for us to check it out & clean before any issues arise. Cheers wexti 👍
  5. Look on Ebay Norway Take the front wheel off & check to see if you have 3 or 4. Then send message to supplier to make sure they send correct one.
  6. gromr123 A picture or two might also help us.... If nothing else we like pictures.
  7. Docc For a Yeti 1.2 tsi Petrol-Non stop start. ABS HEAVY DUTY 012 CAR BATTERY £57 includes vat & delivery. (Always double check with your reg number) 4 year warranty. I have used ABS for many years now & never had a problem with them. Just two weeks ago I had a customer with a faulty batt, & they replaced foc next day.
  8. Have a look here. www.advancedbatterysupplies.co.uk Good choice & very quick delivery. Lots of choice with 4 years warranty.
  9. Yes logiclee, same here. We are not using ours anywhere near what we were. Thinking of going to a little smaller car & so far having a problem what to get. Been looking at a new Yaris cross hybrid or a new shape Vitara hybrid. But they are certainly not a Yeti replacement.
  10. Yeti 73 How are you getting on with this?
  11. Carlodiesel replied to kpcart's topic in Skoda Yeti
Kpcart, why not get your one repaired? Look up Turbo specialists in your country. turbotech.com.au/shop/ Services, refurbs.
  12. "Though it is much improved, should I Be worried?" Tony, it sounds to me like you are in too high a gear. Modern Diesels need to be driven like Petrol engines, so go up through the gears with more rpm.. As you are finding the "problem" at 1500-2000rpm increase the rpm at bit more. Try it out then give us a report back.
  13. Hi Yeti73 First thing I would try is.... Bad connection either in cars tow bar socket, or trailer socket. Good idea to check as you may have corroded terminals, maybe could do with a clean up. Remove wires from socket one at a time, check clean refit.
  14. Hi, welcome to the Yeti club. Off the top of my head after reading your story, I would suggest if not already done, change the fuel filter. If you have had some water in the tank, it will want to stay there. If possible, drain down tank, when the fuel level is as low as you can get. Be interesting to know how you get on.
  15. Now this one looks a little bit newer... Brand new, never ridden. It's great for pottering too. Gardeners love them.
  16. So what is your interest rate?
  17. Carlodiesel replied to Kirky's topic in Skoda Yeti
Could be the drive shaft CV seals in gearbox. Clean up the arias as best you can where the driveshafts enter the gearbox, , then check it again in two days. Also check gearbox oil level. Failing that, it could be rear engine main oil seal. But clean up first.
  18. You will need to get underside to check it out. But this might help...... These have a small ball joint either end & can sometimes give a rattle like noise. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aq59j-B6Po Or Top Suspension mounts. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MClb8USuvs Of course it might not be any of these, but could be the sleeping policeman you ran over...😉
  19. In my opinion, I would say the surface of the disc pads are rather poorly pitted. Mostly due to age. I would replace the pads. Remove disc & clean up both surfaces with some emery cloth round a wood block to keep it flat. Picture of disc would be nice. Copper slip all contact points of the metal part of pads, particularly where the pad slides in the carrier.
  20. Just a tad behind him-CarloDiesel a little bit older.
  21. So in LIGHT of your info, are you returning the ebay bulbs & fitting new projectors???
  22. Sounds like it could well be an injector problem.??? Can you test out each injector?
  23. For your information...Thought this might be interesting for Skoda Owners Some common water pump faults across a range of VW/Skoda/Audi makes and models. Models Various Audi, SEAT, Škoda and Volkswagen models with 1.6 & 2.0 TDi engines. Fault The engine is overheating, the coolant temperature gauge reads over 110°C and the interior heater is performing poorly. Additionally, cooling system fault codes may be logged in the engine control unit (ECU). Cause The water pump fitted to these vehicles has an ECU-controlled collar, which interrupts the coolant flow to make the engine more thermally-efficient. However, the control collar can seize, or the plastic impeller can break-up or come away from the shaft. Solution Ensure the engine is cool, then remove the coolant-filler cap. Remove the small pipe to the coolant header tank and hold this over the filler neck of the header tank. There should be a small trickle of coolant flowing with the engine at idle, and this should increase in flow upon increasing the engine speed. If the flow rate does not increase, this would suggest a faulty water pump. Replace the defective water pump with febi 180948, which features an improved control-collar design; this has been thoroughly tested to eliminate the potential failure of the original water pump. The solenoid valve must be removed from the old original pump and fitted to the new pump, including new seals, which are provided in the kit. Fill the cooling system with the correct coolant, then vacuum bleed the cooling system.
