Well folks, we've done it- we've bought a new car.

I know I run the risk of being excommunicated but... it's not a Skoda. It's not even a VAG car.

It is a Daihatsu Terios, and bloody lovely it is too. I have pics but don't know how to post them.

Just thought I'd share... veh excited...!!

:smrbow:

Edited to add pics as I was just being thick, obviously

Daihatsu, eh? :D

Rob.

Gotta be an improvement over the old Metro though? Looks OK to me!

Glad things are looking up for you - enjoy the experience

What are you going to do with the other one? And what did you spend the 41p change on? :D

Seriously - congratulations. I hope you and Terios will be very happy together.

Classic!

Sorry? whats all this talk about leaving/kicked out all about. Have I been spending too much time on caravan and scumbag threads and missed summat vital.

Not having anyone leaving here. I tried it once but was caught and dragged back in here again! :D

lol @geoff! very good!

Nice car, Niki.

{thinks... Don't mention Chelsea tractors} :P

a terios o dear why did you go for one of them didn't you like the yrv 130 turbo then, not my first choice of car (and i work on them) but i hope you are happy with it.

Nice, definately a step up from the metro....

(in height at least :D)

cool car Niki, hope your wee metro doesnt get jealous

Nikki

We Hired a Terios in Cyprus last year, and it was great fun, a great little 4x4. It's amazing what a 4x4 will do when it's not yours. SWMBO owns a Freelander and there is no way we would try what we did in the Terios.

George

It's a heck of a lot of car for the money, and it's somehow much more credible than a Vitara or similar hairdresser transport devices........

Have had it a few days now and blimey is it fun!!

It's also surprisingly good on fuel economy, being a wee 1.3 engine, so that's a result.

We are really enjoying it; the Metro stays, she is MINE and always will be... plus the insurer won't let me drive a 4x4 and I intend getting through my test soon, and need a car to do it in. Not paying instructors any more money!
