Arghhh!!! I hope not, Ordered a VT2 Turbo and EGR bypass kit off them 3 weeks ago and its due anytime now. :( Where did you hear this information???

Hmm, I hope not, only thing I could find was this : Tdi Turbo Upgrade. - VAGdrivers.net - Sponsored by O'Reilly & Sons, Longford - 043 46321 - Main VW Dealers

I have used them before and the service was poor, struggled to get an answer on the phone but got the stuff eventually.

You can get a better quality billet EGR bypass from VW TDI timing belts, aluminum VW skid plates, VW short shift kits, VW G60 clutch, and Race Pipes by www.dieselgeek.com

Doubt it, i've just recieved my EGR by-pass pipe last week (unless they went bust very recently.........)

They have gone bust, but also haven't.... It seems they're trading under a new name now - fuel efficient systems. Allard in Gloucester is definitely no more now - just in monmouth now I believe. However, the whole thing has put me off using them again. The dodgy cam has left a sour taste in my mouth especially as I had no recourse on it and spent hundreds on a stock cam & fittings & labour....

VRS Dovit-Did you order it off their site? How long was delivery.

That Billet one looks awesome:cool:

On the dieselgeek site it mentions it wont fit the pd engines though

I first read about them going bust from over on SCN.

Just re-read dieselgeek and it just certain PD engines that it wont fit

but seems fine for the VRS motor.

Unless ive read it wrong again:O

took about 2 feckin weeks AND there was a part for blanking the return missing! I WONT deal with them ever again.......not happy with the attitude when i phoned and sure as hell not happy with the service.

Glad I posted this now.

Just ordered the one off dieselgeek.

I always thought Allards had a good rep on this forum? Have they changed owners recently or just lost the plot?

I thought this too, thats why i ordered from them. My own personal opinion is that i wouldn't waste my time or money with them........

TBH wish i had ordered it from elsewhere................

Oh bum never noticed the Dieselgeek one :(

The allard one isnt the best designed and the fitting instructions were... well... poor

i also had trouble with the jubilee - came off twice but the third time i ratcheted it right up lol - not budged since, a silicon jobbie would have been 10x's better

I've got a Samco pipe on the end of the EGR. Gonna replace the plastic boost hose with a stainless one............can anyone say "possible Group Buy"??? LOL LOL LOL :);)

DieselGeek looks good. Not seen before.

I love there Skid Plates. Dont do one for the Fabia tho.

Maby we should all email him, as i know Id want one.

Dave

wish i'd known about the Deselgeek site before!!!!!

Found another place called street toys, which look to have a superb bit of kit.

Ive just emailed them so i'll keep you lot posted.

Paypal was playing up so I couldnt order from dieselgeek, this ones cheaper too!

Whats the full address mate

Minted! ;)

I knew about Street Toys a while ago, and have emailed them alot to see if they had Fabia stuff etc.

Never replyed!!

Shame really as i think theyve got some great stuff.

Spoke to Jabba about Street Toys inlet manifolds and exhaust manifolds.

Jabba sayd they look too big to get under the Fabia bonnet and keep away from the bulkhead.

I like the idea of there OMI intakes, but still havent hear back from them to say weither they do one, or if they will post!

Someone else could try tho.

HTH. Dave

Street Toys do a race pipe for $99.95 !!

I'm drooling over that site as we type...........lol ;)

Just looking at there turbos again (looked a few months back).

But Im not sure theres much point looking as they dont reply to emails.!!

The thing with Allards sounds like they've rolled the company over and re-opened under a new name. Leaves a lot of people out of pocket but still allows the company to trade again. Shouldn't be allowed IMHO.
