I have tried to read through all the posts and I take it we are all meeting at the services at the end of the A350 dual carriageway.......but what time in the morning?

Now ONE!! pass left.

We're up to 48 cars now, which is hell of a result! 49 to fill the stand! (would have been 50 had I not sent a replacement out to someone [cough!] Steve! [cough!] :P

The list of colours etc now is:

ELEVEN silver

FOUR yellow

TWO race blue

TEN red

ELEVEN black

TEN others:-

grey roomster

blue roomster

blue fabia

white 106

green octy

black saab

gold superb

blue octy

silver leon

grey mk5 GTI

The fact there's 11 black and 11 silver got me thinking about a Silver, Black, Silver, Black, Silver.... layout. Would that look naff?

The Black one with a sunroof should be in the middle of the front row, Hang on a mo That's Me!!!!!!!:thumbup:

I'll put some of these on to make it special

And now there's an Octy II combi in a rather fetching shade of cappucino:rofl:

The meet up is null and void now as I have posted everything out. basically there's a few convoys going from a couple of places, but for you I guess it's just a case of showing up as and when. Just need your clubstand pass to get let in the stand area, and pay £10 on the gate to get in

Thanks :)

found my boost leak :( driveshaft rubbed on the boost pipe as its soo low and put a hole in it! so spoke to lukeykins and hopefully jabba can sort before sat! and raise the front a little to stop further rubbage!

looking forward to some noice track action though :D

I'm going to see if I can get off work to go to this! only half an hour, if that from me and is always a good day!

I have my second club stand ticket arrive today :o

I had a club stand ticket arrive today! Shame i dont have a ticket but hey *cough cough* hahaha Gave my car its first pre show clean today, hopefully we will have good weather all week so i can keep on top of it!

Jason could you please whack up your expected arrival times etc in the first post? I can't remember what time you said we should turn up (if we're on track in particular) and can't be bothered to search through all the pages of the thread to find it :D;)

06.00am for the people on the track:rofl::D

:D That means leaving at 04:00 - I don't think so ;)

Ed - me and dc14 (plus maybe a couple of others) are still set for leaving the south side of cheltenham at 7:45 to be at the circuit about half 8

All 3 of us are on the stand and in the track session so might be worth sticking together! :D

The first Action Day of the summer has switched into overdrive with a record 105 owners’ clubs from all over the South and West taking part, including Avon Sports & Classic Car Club, Bristol Skoda, Bristol RS Owners Club, Bath & Bristol Scoobies and the Avon Peugeot Sportscar Club.

oh deary me :doh::rofl:

On all our Action Days, the sound limit is 100 dB(A) - measured at the exhaust pipe at 4500rpm on a static test.

4500rpm!! hardly fair for us derv drinkers?! the engine clatter will be louder than the exhaust noise :D

3000rpm for us Derv drivers (usually - 2/3 of redline)

NFox - I sure hope you're kidding as all admission tickets were allocated out and I had none left over once all envelopes were stuffed! :P

Getting in for 8am is PLENTY early, I'm only aiming for 7.30 as I want a headstart. :)

Had my club stand pass arrive today.........:)

I posted another 5 off today as well. Only got one left which is actually currently in the possession of another briskodian.

OK - I would appreciate people's thoughts on this layout? :)

The principle is to "cluster" the colours together, irrelevant of what models are involved. I have done the vRS colours only and left gaps at each end to place other colours. Cars like Baker's superb and the pair of roomsters should be focal points of these two "end groups" :)

The extra idea is also that any car should be able to exit the stand at any time without being blocked in, either by going backwards or forwards. I have "guessed" at the 5 car width, but if it turns out to be 6 cars easily, then there's more room for all, and we can probably have a centre focus of gazebos, tables, chairs, etc.

If agreeable, I would like to be the basis of the stand layout and hope everyone considers where they are going to be roughly situated, :) The banner is most likely going to be in the middle facing outward in front of the outer most, front facing silver & black car.

i think i will arrive early and give you my keys then you can put it were ever you want lol  :P

I wouldn't do that as I might try and put 3 or 4 laps of the circuit on it. :D

I forgot to add I have my own personal thoughts on who will be at the front/back rows of each colour group. Don't be offended if I say you're in a back row as it's nothing personal. I just WANT that best clubstand prize. ;)

Jason

I would park all the cars along the back (right on drawing) facing the front (left) with the stand either in the middle or right at the far left.

Are we going to put cars in order "After" the track session,if so it would give us time to arrange everything before hand.

I don't think there's enough room to get everyone side by side along that back edge. It's roughly 60 metres and each car will need about 2.5 metres to park in. The stand will be put in this order from the start and all track people will be able (SHOULD :D be able) to get out on track when the time arises, and get back and slot in to their space again. [fingers crossed!]

I think the lay out in on page 1 is better but it depends on what other stands do to the right of us,as we need to be in a lay out so people can and will walk though all are display.

What time does it open as i'm only staying a few miles away?

and what about all the broken cars from the track session including mine?

I'm getting in at 7.30, but I think gates open at 7. I definitely want to stick with the "colour cluster" layout even if the direction/stance changes.

I'm also gunning for 100% reliability on the track session!
