I assume those of us with a standard vrs will have no problems whatsoever with the sound check (if they even bother to do one)?

:D stupid question, wunnit? ;)

oooo and fingers crossed the weathers supose to be good :thumbup:

i should be getting my lil group of brisk folk there about 8am :D

Ed - me and dc14 (plus maybe a couple of others) are still set for leaving the south side of cheltenham at 7:45 to be at the circuit about half 8

All 3 of us are on the stand and in the track session so might be worth sticking together! :D

i got fabby meetin me at worcs also ,so shud be a gud lil convoy down there!an we all love a convoy:D:thumbup:

also personally do like the layout of the frist stand ides but suppose it depends on the room we got now were full!!

EVEN I am having no worries about the soundcheck.

100 decibels is BLOODY loud so I think only Des is the one who might have to worry a bit. I have a silencer in my system now which has taken out all the harshness, so I will be fine now. :)

Just a thought, would anyone not taking the track session like to volunteer to act as security guard for any trackies who want to divest some weight – spare wheels etc, food/drink etc to be left in the stand area.

I am also on the lookout for someone with a lot of room in their boot for all my stuff! :rofl:

I'm just going to come with an empty boot. I'll keep the spare wheel in even on the track (balances out the heavy front end, I heard ;)) I've got a passenger anyway so taking means to save weight elsewhere would be a bit stupid. Add 70kg person and take away 3 or 4kg rear seats, for example? I can't be bothered with the hassle :D

I am however running double concentrate millers for this week running up to it to clear the engine out a bit. Will probably run double concentrate on the day as well - I'm expecting a 100% increase in power. :D

Having watched some videos on youtube of the last spring action day it looks like quite a nice track to drive around and as said before I'm going to be more than happy somewhere towards the back :)

Ditto!

I'll have a weekend's worth of stuff for 2 people in the boot as we're heading to Thruxton at lunchtime for the BTCC. I don't really want all that in the boot for the track session!

If it's sunny I'm happy to just have a big pile and someone to watch over it, Thing is, I expect most, if not all, of Briskoda will want to watch the track session, leaving the stand vacant.....

We really need volunteers for boot storage - I bagsy Gmaster's boot as his "payment" for me giving him a passenger lap. :rofl:

To be honest I was thinking of the 'big pile' approach but apprciate that everyone is likely to want to watch the session.

Should have pretty much a full bootfull available to all who need it as all me system has been taken out now :rotz:

my stock plates turnt up today so i should now be able to keep out of trouble :rolleyes:

also my dodo red mist so i can see if i can make it anymore shiny :D

cant wait now, looking forward to seeing des n jase on the track :thumbup: along with all you other guys of course :)

You'll most likely be told at the drivers briefing to remove or secure any loose items in your boot or interior, obviously a tool box or deck chair might hurt when you roll the car and it hits you on the back of the head :rofl:

think i will def have my "polishin tray" plus two spare spiders needin lookin after while on track!

My tickets turned up today cheers Jason:thumbup:

just had the octy back from skoda today as well new bushes on and service.feels so much tighter now:D

TRAITOR! ;) :P This means I have a spare seat in the mongrel available for PAX session. :)

I know Vagowners and Tuning House (local forum to me) are there. But no ideas on others. Should be a real eclectic selection of cars! :cool:

also my dodo red mist so i can see if i can make it anymore shiny :D

Picked up a bottle of that last week too, smells fantastic!! Though didn't think it added anything to mine! :mad:

Kinda preferred the 1st stand lay out too :o sorry

Happy to volunteer remaining bootspace in my Vroomster support vehicle, there'll be very little that has to come out of my car save for a few CD's and a pack of chewing gum or two :eek::rofl:

Trouble with the first layout was the issue of cramming 50 cars in there. Was looking like just 40 cars were coming which would allow much more room. The whole thing might be subject to change but I think the best thing for definite is to keep colours together. :)

Saturday day weather

Heavy Rain Shower

* Heavy Rain Shower

* Max: 19°C 66°F

:D Looks like there's no need for me to wash the car before driving down as the roads will get it filthy again anyway :D
