Looking at the weather it seems the worst of the rain looks to be coming in on Friday late afternoon. FIngers crossed it will blow across a little faster than predicted and is mostly gone by saturday.... Can but hope.

Not sure what time the cafe opens at Castle combe but they do a half decent brekkie, im up for that! :D

Regarding the weather looking slighty better now, now says light rain and not heavy, i got a feeling it may not be to bad! ;)

I've managed to discover that one of my tyres is well legal (4mm or so of tread) and that the other one (which I bought from TokyoPhil a few months ago) is the near-illegal one. So as I've got another F1 lying around I'll just get the two swapped tomorrow and can run on half-worn Eagle F1s tomorrow which should remove any issues should it happen to be raining on Saturday :)

I may wander down and have a look.........................as I live 3/4 mile from the circuit, free too!

Will someone be taking a footpump of sorts?

Will someone be taking a footpump of sorts?

I have one strapped to the side of my boot, so will definitely have it there.

I might also have my halfords electric tyre pump for emergencies. ;)

I hope someone brings a first aid box - I bet someone skins their nuckles poking about somewhere they shouldnt

Damn Im tempted to go now, if anyone bails at the last minute dont hesitate to uhhh "holler" in my general direction :D

I've got an emergency travel first aid kit

It's possible NFox is not going to be able to come, so keep on tabs with this thread in case a space crops up. :)

Hmmm, well the weather would indicate that real early on in the day it will be VERY wet, but it also seems to show that things will improve from fairly early on in the morning. I still think the track surface will be wet though, even if it dries up around 9am. :)

3am - Rain coming in over Devon

WEATHER1.jpg

6am - Rain right over Castle Combe pretty much! :thumbdwn:

WEATHER2.jpg

9am - Rain appears to be heading north and away from Bristol area

WEATHER3.jpg

12am - Rain has kindly f**ked off, but too late to save the Brisky track session probably. At least a dry afternoon to make the clubstand look sexy in the sun!
