It won't be a washout - just a few nasty showers perhaps, which might amount to nothing at all in the end. Friday is looking good so fingers crossed that spell lasts a bit longer. :)

I need you there early Clive to help me set up all the stand stuff I now have! :P

DC14 - sounds like a coilpack's gone. Replace all 4 and it will be sorted. :)

As Jason has said check your coil packs.On1 may be not seated correctly so check if they are all the same height.

Jason have you got a final list of attendees and cars? ;) I couldn't find one in the thread having had a quick look :(

Yep definately sounds like a coil pack, £30 or so from the dealer and 10mins to fit.

Quote from Met Office

Some sunshine over the weekend, though turning increasingly showery and possibly thundery from the south

Fingers crossed it is just one of those days of blustery showers. Better bring some waffle weave towels. :D

Eff that, an umbrella would be better :rofl:

Already got my golf brolley in the car. :o I was thinking about simply improving cars between showers, but like GTI Inters last year, after about the 4th dry down, it gets bloody tedious!

SO, WHO'S VOLUNTEERING FOR A 7.30 ARRIVAL TO HELP ME SETUP?

I told you I can be there "around" that time if you like. It's only an hour from my house, and at that time of day about 40 mins really ;)

All help is welcome although all it's really going to be is:

1) Assemble 4 telescopic poles & chequered flags

2) Assemble my gazebo

3) Assemble the table I'm bringing (doddle)

4) Unwrap 8 lengths of bunting and probably tie between the telescopic poles to form a border

5) Stick the remaining 6 flags somewhere (I mght buy 6 long canes from B&Q to attach them to)

Then just sorting out cars as they arrive (some initial visualisation of the stand area will be needed too :))

Will I be able too get in there at that time Jase ???

Or do I mention you on the gate ??

Better bring some waffle weave towels. :D

waffle weave aye  but then ocd would cause need for some quick wax lol nooooo how will i cope  i must resist and let it stay wet

i just wish it would stay dry for that extra day, or even until 3pm or sumin, just so we get a good chunk of the day nice :) can but hope i supose

This time yesterday the met forecast suggested it'll be dry on Saturday, tomorrow it'll be different again (so long as we don't get Sepang-style thunder storms!

Anyone at all with a clubstand pass can get in any time after 7am, I am 99% sure.

I'm going to try for 7:30 as combe is only about 1/2hr from me - depends on the crowd tho.

I have some 2m long green plastic bean poles, stronger than canes, that might be a bit better for the other flags. I can chuck a few of them in.

They sound perfect! I'm not sure how to attach the flags to them, but we can use them as mounts for bunting as well. I would bring as many as possible please.
