My pleasure. Just got back - very tired, a bit burnt, but very happy. VERY happy with the way the mongrel handled castle combe too - I felt like she would never relent. However, spent most of the journey home in limp mode, so some fun to be had tomorrow finding out why. :)

July 25th eh? That's AFTER my exams.... I may well have a crack at organising that one. Plus will be quite cool being a VAG specific day.

what bug

thinking about getting spare set of rims with some stickies on them

I cant get over the sound of some of the fabia vrs' in the track session, just didn't sound like diesels and the mongrel, well that just tore away very impressed

Thanks to every one for getting rid of the pizza  .......and to Jason for a very relaxing and enjoyable day , nice to see everyone again, ......I can't believe my face is a bit burn't :o

Had a great day- huge thanks, Jason! Good to meet some of you guys :) Was initially very nervous around the track, but by the end I didn't want to come off! My mate was timing me- 1st lap 1:54, last one 1:35- very happy with that!

I think I was doing somewhere in the 1:30s as well. 1.8 mile circuit and most of that time seemed to be spent over 80mph - touched an indicated 120 on the approach to quarry too which I was very happy with. So glad it was dry.

I timed the 'quick' white EVO at 1 min 24 secs and the Lotus Exige at 1 min 18 secs to give you a comparison

Thanks Jason for organising the day. I'm absolutely shattered right now, will have to edit the video and get it posted up, but that'll be tomorrow now.

Was :- Skoda 120LSE Yellow 1.2 ~ 60 BHP? :)

Then :- Mk I Skoda Octavia Blueline 1.9 TDi 90 BHP. :)

Now :- Mk II Skoda Octavia vRS Black 2.0 TFSI. 200 BHP. :D + Skoda Felicia LXi Green 1.3 67 BHP :)

Future :- MkII Skoda Fabia vRS 1.4 TSI 150 BHP ;)

Future :- MkII Skoda Fabia vRS 1.4 TSI 150 BHP ;)

Not necessarily........ I've got something in mind that I might do instead of buying a new car.........;)

Think most people were pretty quick- I was overtaken loads  . Just worked my times out from the camera:

Lap 1- 2:09! :thumbdwn::eek:

Lap 2- 1:54

Lap 3- 1:44

Lap 4- 1:42

Lap 5- 1.37

was a great day, missed the first couple of laps because of the sound marshall numptys:mad: and some of the track etiqet could have been a little better, but overall a great turnout great day and a huge thanks to jason for organising, only realised at the end i forgot to turn the traction off so my diff wasn't really working but i guess after my week i was lucky to be there at all, another thanks to jay for clearing my faults:thumbup:
