Chavvy Corsa Drivers

Featured Replies

it was a sleeper for sure, just looked like any old crappy nova, pulled my pants down for sure lmao

A 1.1 Litre Rover 100 with a huge exhaust fitted with red LEDs around the outside of it is super ch4vvy. There is one that drives round here alot.

You do need to be careful when baiting Nova boy, there are some quick motors out there but thankfully they are few and far between

If all else fails, there is always Ply.............

You don't happen to know where he got the spoiler from do you?

And also their modding, there is modding and there is ch@vving a car

such as badging your car up to look like something it so very isn't :P ;)

try being 19 and having a white fr look-alike. and no, its not badged up as one, just the bumpers lol. get allsorts trying to race me. had a guy in a fully black corsa (including the wolf race wheels :p) rev the crap out of his car at a roundabout. then booted it infront of me. 200 yards later huge clouds of black smoke and bits of engine flew outta the back of his car. couldnt resist slowing down to beep and wave. really wish id have videoed it.

Not that I would EVER do that..........:P

As for the traffic light grand prix, I tend to let them get on with it, seen too many people burn away and wheelspin on things like manholes then wobble, rather not get too close. I do give them the look then they tear off, and I drive off normally.

pull up at the lights alongside a dad in a people carrier and either rev the engine or start creeping forward (or both)...when the lights go green watch him go tearing off whilst you pull away like you've got miss daisy in the back seat, what larks :D

or on a known stretch of road for speed enforcement watch them take off only to be pulled in half amile up the road

That's the best one! I did one where there was a camera 200 yards up the road from the lights in a 30, Corsa-boy got all revved up and screamed off, I just toddled the vRS away, saw flash-flash and frantic brake lights from the Corsa. Too late ya idiot

I had a strange experience with a corsa few months back

I was driving to work early in the morning and a corsa appeared right up my tail pipe

So i carried on at the same speed giving the corsa plenty of oportunitys to overtake me

(which it didnt take)

A mile or so on

The corsa pulled over to pick someone up from the side of the road and i carried on at the same speed.

About a mile later the corsa was back up my ****(obviously ragged it to catch up)

then we came to a set of lights that turn into a bit of duel carriage way

So i took the left hand lane and sat paitiently

The corsa pulls next to me and starts reving and rocking

I thought i would pull off at a sensible speed due to not wanting to get into a race with the corsa

just as the lights changed the corsa was off in a wheel spinning frenzy

I thought ******** to that and floored the car leaving it well behind me before we had even crossed the lights.then eventually a speck in my rear mirror

Whats strange about this?

I was in a R32

(in sport mode:D)

just before speed cameras had reflective covers on there was one on a long straight with a 30 mph limit, the road on the long stretch before the roundabout was 60 and a jag had been sitting up my **** so as i approched the camera i slowed down, he got closer and didnt like it and over took, striaght past the camera and was still accelerating on the second flash  just wondered if he learnt his lesson after that

One of my favourite tricks:

Sometime last year I was at traffic lights and someone pulled up next to me in a chavved-up Corsa, looked over at me, started revving the engine, edging forward etc. Lights changed, big screech from the Corsa and they raced off; I don't race people at lights [usually] so I let them by then just held up with them til we got to about xxx mph and I didn't want to go any faster.

At the next set of lights at a crossroads, 2 lanes into 1 as before, they stayed left and then swerved into the right lane when I approached. We looked over at each other, he started edging forward, so I started edging forward, he started revving, so I did. Lights changed, screech of tyres from Corsa and Fabia, he sped off ... I turned left. :D

Done this a few times, always makes me laugh.

One of the best traffic light fly offs i have ever seen was an evo and a ferrari as i stood by eating some chips and curry by the lights in the town where i live

Better for me because the evo driver had pushed me around a roundabout then went flying past me when we both came off at the same place a few weeks previously

What a joy to see him get owned as i tucked into my chips

im buying one of these chaved up corsa in about a week but thats a 2lt and it flys test drove it today

Was reversing up to a tyre inflator when this b***** in a Corsa pulls up behind me to nab it before I got there.

What a twunt

See if you had a pocket rocket such as him he wouldn't of beaten you..:rofl:

Is it the "life" model?

Please don't wear a baseball hat while you drive it.

No one ever races me. :( It's probably because they assume I'm 80 because I drive a Skoda. Every bugger else round here that drives one is!

No one ever really bothered me when I had my Fabia vRS either.. When I had the ST I did have an MG ZS try it on, left him looking like he hit the brakes not the throttle. :D

My previous car was a Stilo Abarth that was lowered etc. I never do the traffic light grand prix thingy but was always harrassed into trying to race around the town. (people should be shot for speeding around towns) I might have indulged them a bit when i got onto the roads outside my village tho. Think most of them got a bit of a shock after that. Well the Stilo did have a 5 cylinder 2.4 ltr engine. :D

I think it all depends on what your car looks like really. I mean I now drive a silver octy II vRS estate so thankfully no one pays a blind bit of notice (or they think i'm an undercover cop car) Used to bug the ****e out of me when you couldn't drive anywhere without some chav in a banger driving up your **** wanting a race.

A few years ago i owned a mk5 escort that i spent an absolute fortune on, most of it on the suspension etc. Anyway, i'm driving across one of the scottish moors that i knew rather well, when this tit of car driver (same standard version of mine) wanted to race. I thought i'd pick the pace up a bit (nothing too serious) but enough to find his car's set up on the very edge of grip etc. I soon slowed down and let him overtake me after i saw him sliding all over the place and generally out of his depth just trying to keep up. Didn't want him to kill himself after all. The lesson i learnt from that one (and a few more since then) is these guys who want to race you through the towns and in there pimp my ride cars with 5 mates in tow generally have very limited driveing skill, and its all too easy to force them in to a position where they think they are the next Colin Mcrae (RIP) and kill themselves or worse, their passengers.

my last car was a punto hgt that i had a nice man in a nice garage put a nice turbo in 4 me. 130bhp standard--247 bhp fetteled lol.kept the bobywork as standard and debaged lol car only weighted 1040 kg and i never had a problem with silly corcas lol

At the same time I had the stilo, I also had the MK II punto sporting.... really wanted the HGT tho.
