I'm hoping to show my face if even for a short while as we'll be on our way to Kent and the first part of our holiday. Will be coming from Chorley area though.

There is a listing for attendance in the off topic chit chat area.

As to museum entry - yes there will be some super discounted tickets for those who are on the attendees listing and other discounted tickets for everyone else.

The super discounted tickets are limited to one (1) per listed atendee and their car.

If you are coming with others in the car,for the other occupants discounted tickets can be purchased.

A link will be up shortly for these, to be purchased via Briskoda.

For those who want to camp we need to have a minimum of 45 pitches booked to avail of the camp ground on site. This can be tents or caravans. Less than this is totally non viable. So far I think 3 have expressed interest.

Re tickets.

We have some special £5 tickets for those who are coming along and are on the list,

They are limited to one per car on the list see the message on the home page. as to how to obtain them.

We will have some other discounted tickets on general sale shortly - again there will be a special link (probably in the shop area) Hopefully by June 1st

Unfortunately Gaydon do not offer family tickets of childrens's ticket at a reduction and as such you will have to obtain these on the day at the museum entrance.

There is a special offer on a entry tickets for the museum - sse the top of main page when you log in. These will not be available on the day and must be purchased via the Briskoda link above.

In regards to camping, is there any on the site, I'm sure there was a mention of this.

Just thinking of looking into accomodation.

On site camping would be available, but as already posted we need around 45 pitches booked for it to economically viable. So far I believe just 3 (including yourself) have expressed any interest - so being practical I very much doubt it will be available.

Thanks John, will have to try and see if I can try and stay with relatives in the area if I can or book into a premier inn or travel lodge

There will be photos available from those that attended the club stand at chatsworth rally show yesterday and today. I will have some, as will Oggy.

If camping happens I would be interested, failing that if anyone can recommend cheap B&B, cheers.

Mind you just seen a good hotel deal - is this event 100% going ahead before I book it?!

Of course yes, recognise the Darwen bit. Not sure exactly what time we will be setting off, will depend on our baby... Also will have a stop half way there to give him a break and probably a snack..:eek: But could drive down together, will sort nearer the time....

Mudpuppy planning on heading down friday at least to get a long weekend out of it, so could convoy down to wherever we're going to stay if you like.

I'll have to let you know closer to the time, as if I head down on the Friday it'll probably involve leaving at around 6.30. It's either that or I go down stupidly early the next morning :confused:

Guys can we get confirmation of this 100% going ahead as going to book a hotel and dont want to do that and find this is getting cancelled or anything?! Cheers.

I think this is defo going ahead, if you have any concerns I would pm JohnD in the first instance, but I can't see them cancelling this.
