Briskoda Super Rally Day 12th July

We have arranged to hold a Natinal Meet - Briskoda Super Rally, on the 12th of July at the Heritage Motor Museum at Gaydon - just of Jcn 12 of the M40

This is an all day event for the benefit of all members, it is also free to attend.

There is a show/competition space for approx 100 cars, we'll hold a show 'n' shine, best of each model, a collection of classic Skoda's too from the SOGB club and Skoda UK's fleet. Additional parking for others as needed, plenty of space. In addition there will be various stands from our partners.

We have also hired a room inside the museum where members can meet, chill out, chat and hopefully see some video of Briskodian Motoring activities. Incidentally if you have some motoring video, pop it onto a DVD and bring it with you on the day.

A meeting was held here in October and the opinion was that it is a great venue, on site is a great hertiage museum, some go karting and a 4x4 course, these are all paid and sadly not covered by our free event.

There is something for everyone and for those in the family who are not keen car fanatics, Leamington Spa and all it's shops is not to far away, ideal for SWMBO . There is also a local garden; called Jephson Gardens, within which lies The Czech Parachute Fountain which commemorates WWII operations.

On the day there will be other car groups also in attendance - Audi and Rolls Royce

On site there are go-kart facilities; a short but very good fun circuit, a 4x4 Landrover course and of course the museum it'self. The museum contains examples of British motoring from the early days to the present day, the JCB diesel max car was on show in January.

We hope you will all come along and meet other Briskodians and of course bring your Skoda.

July's car of the month will also be picked from those showing.
