Cannonball starts tomorrow

Featured Replies

Well, had a BAD week as some of you know, driven over 1000 miles getting the car ready but hopefully only the wheels to balance & its all ready.

Massive thanks to Lloyd Allard at Allard turbosports for turning round a stonkingly good front mount at short notice

To ALL AT JABBA who spent Thursday setting up the car only for the Maf to fail thursday night half way home, who then fitted the new maf on Friday & re ran the car to double check everything.

To Winchester Motor co for ringing round & finding me the parts at a VW Garage as no local Skoda dealers had them in stock

If anyones in London on Sunday the 12th Sept & fancies looking at some exotic cars (& a skoda) The start for this years Cannonball will be at the Sunborn floating hotel, Royal Docks London.

The starts at 4 but if you want to look at the cars I would suggest getting there a few hours before. I also believe some of the exotics are doing rides for some disabled kids in the morning so it would be a chance to see some cars running early. Its a great place to take your own kids kids if they are into cars & theres always a few burning rubber at the start for the bigger kids !!

There are 121 cars entered, significantly more than last year.

The web site is www.cannonballruneurope.co.uk

If I get time I will e-mail some piccies of the car to someone to post but we leave at 2.30 sat for the registration & pre event party

If I dont get back to Briskoda I will report in a week (hopefully!)

Good luck Stuart, try not to get nicked

I'll tell John (chequered Porsche) on Monday when I see him. He'll be very envious I'm sure and will no doubt pass on his best wishes for you.

Good luck Stuart, saw the car at Trax but didn't get a chance to say Hi. Hope you show some of them 'exotics' how it's done Skoda stylie ;)
