When I finally decided to buy sem motorsport intake passenger side (LHD) sale was off and no more PS ones. Inwas so mad. I contacted SEM and they initially rejected my demand for another PS big port intake. I contacted even Arnold from pag and when he said he will be able to get one Tom from sem motorsport that he will do one for me because he liked my build thread!!!!!! Man was I happy or what hehehehehe. He made one like here:

Hi my trusty follower

I've been doing some nice things yesterday....

so lets see

First I installed

Coil Pack Wiring Harness Conduit

20140205_150158_zpsf1f6901c.jpg

If you use AGN valve cover coil on the 4cylinder can't sit straight paralele to other three because that oil tower at that side.

So some ginding of the coil was made:

20140319_204652_zps37ab9788.jpg

and here is the result

20140319_205033_zps8e432981.jpg

20140319_205701_zps68e177ff.jpg

But to complete installation we had to deal with to short ground wire

20140319_205634_zps28cf90ae.jpg

first I copied an idea seen elsevhere on forum_ drille hole in that cover

20140319_205754_zpse935c5df.jpg

20140319_210805_zps6bcfb042.jpg

but it still was to short and holded cover under tnesion

so I decided to lenghten it with original piece left in garage from some Polo

20140319_212039_zps3aba1e2b.jpg

ofcourse it has to be thermo protected so we used this beauties

20140319_213917_zps0e4f3f13.jpg

bout ends were protected and than second thermal sleeve from added part was used as second barrier to protect soldering point (did I wrote this right??)

And further progress was made:

in place with cover

we added additional nut under it to raise it and move away from cover as much as we can:

closed it with inox nut with cap

20140319_215023_zpsf1c5c08a.jpg

and final result is here. nice and clean:

Due to the fact my car was running like with cold, when I press throttle fast it doesn't react as before, no vag com errors, coils were new, TB adaptation done. I checked my IK 24 preggaped to 0,024" (0,6mm) and they were oppened to 0,8mm, we  reduced the gap but still not taking throttle like my car did before.

Ordered some new ones, but this time no tax for foole (pregapped), we gapped them by ourself!!!

So it's finally time for that oil ****ing 034motorsport Vortex catch can.

I decided to use some fluorolined hoses and to reroute that vapor and oil mixture underneath the car.

Idea was to remove that air filter on top, and to use some

180 degree hose:

SFS was perfect choice, 25mm

20140319_205345_zpsf5e8a23d.jpg

it has green inner fluorolining

20140213_203942_zps6734fdef.jpg

25 to 19mm adapter is going to be ussed to connect it to 19 mm hose planned to gou under the car behind the subframe.

I simulated it with an old 19mm hose and sow that 45 degree hose is needed

ASH was the choice for 45 and straight one. Unfortunatelly they don't do 180 degree one

20140319_205427_zps2a372912.jpg

20140319_205421_zps1047b819.jpg

Just hate those blue barbed connectors. Couldn't find black ones 19mm.

If anyone on forum can give me a link to black ones I will appreciate it.

ASH has red inner fluorolining

20140319_205406_zps12330403.jpg

remowed the air filter

20140319_215933_zps8bc9be0d.jpg

shortened one leg of that 180degree elbow for tight fit under the hood and as much as possibble stealth look

20140319_220421_zpsfa381f61.jpg

20140319_220427_zpsc6eac807.jpg

to be continued......

Great work as always!

Do you ever drive your car, or are you too busy making it into a work of art?

hahaha thanks..... yes I drive it and how...that's why I'm sad right now...hope to solve it with sparks....

tomorow will finish catch can rerouting, replace one Mishimoto with Forge coolant hose-due to the leaks, and shorten some silicone hoses i've put for servo pump, and will put large underengine plastic cover, like for diesel ones....

Did also replace that low quality Mishimoto radiator hose for Forge one:

it was to lose on both ends and did leak regardles of tightened clamps

20140321_194333_zpscbcb4ff0.jpg

did also shorten that horisontal hose with ASH sign on servo pump because it was rubbing on that plastic lateral cover

So you are venting the catch can to atmosphere. Is that a good idea on these cars. I heard you need a least 25mm outlet to avoid crankcase pressure build up. Also a lot of oil mist will be spilling out on the road which might not be best idea.?

Ok. I can always put filter back on catch can with 25mm ID connection. But when it was so it was spiting oil out of can and making me crazzy even it is so called "vortex" system from 034motorsport and no oil is supposed to come out except evaporations. Now there is no oil mess underneath the car. Or I might go 25mm all the way down instead of 19mm. Both ways it was drained to atmosphere but manny thanks for pointing out that 25mm issue!!!! I will for sure reconsider it and either put filter back or 25mn all the way down.
