RNS510/Columbus - Dual to single antenna adaptor

Featured Replies

No degradation of fm quality?

Nope

I drove around Folkestone twice.

Once on Radio 5 on AM

Once on Radio 2 on FM

Sound was exactly the same as normal on FM and no difference/fluctuation on FM Signal

The AM signal also sounded exactly the same as my Neighbours car on the same station

Cool. Good stuff.

Am I right in thinking we need another one or two people for the GB?

Do you think we could convince simbo it's a good idea - I know you're watching !!!

always watching... :)

Lol... no, I hardly listen to the radio & when I do, it's Radio 2 - never listen to AM & get loadsa TMC updates!

Was wondering if Carl's done a scan though & has the 00856 Radio Antenna fault gone with the cable attached or if it's thrown up a different fault as there's now a short between the two sockets??

??????

I bet it's gone.

Was wondering if Carl's done a scan though

 erm i do things properly you know  :P

The Fault hasnt gone they are still there (Two now on Navigation for both aerial sockets and one on Radio)

I thought it would go but hey ho. I don't really care as those faults don't affect anything so i can live with it

OK - great news from our trained guniea pig - back in your hutch!!

So the Group Buy is now on.

At the last update I had a list of the following interested parties:

1. Stoofa

2. wega3k

3. mannyo

4. Wardy

5. Mater

6. chriskite

7. gadgetman (possible)

8. Mercurio

9. Brimma

Need to remove Mater from this list as he already has his.

So at the moment that is 7 or 8 people.

We can do the GB with any number of people - the cost slightly increases per unit with less people.

Taking into consideration the current exchange rate, and the cost of the first cable (being slightly higher than the others).

We can basically do the following prices - this price is delivered to your door.

10 People - £23.30

9 People - £23.44

8 People - £23.63

7 People - £23.86

So I'm now looking for some kind of commitment.

I wont ask for any payment until I've received the items from Germany and they are ready to be sent out to you.

However if you now want to take part I'm asking that you don't back out.

Please confirm interest below - I will PM everyone just to confirm before I place the order.

Looking to do that on Monday/Tuesday next week.

So:

1. Mater (Already has cable, but counts towards GB and final costings)

2. Stoofa (Yer, I'd better have one as I'm organising things)

 erm i do things properly you know  :P

At least we know what you get for your extra money on the skodateile.cz one now! :)

I'm not asking for payment before I send the item out - although if you want to pay in advance that is your call.

Preferred payment method would be Paypal.

Bank transfer is also possible.

And for those still stuck in the 1900's - I'll even do a cheque. :)

PM me saying how you'd like to make payment and I'll PM you either my Paypal email, Bank Details or Address.

Cost is going to be £23.45 Delivered to your door.

And for those still stuck in the 1900's - I'll even do a cheque. :)

I live in Dorset. Would you accept a goat/chicken/pig as barter?

:D

Just to let you know - the cables arrived today.

I've been stuck in the house all day as we were having some flooring put down.

However I shall start sending them out tomorrow.

So if you haven't already PM'ed me the address where you want it delivering, please do so.
