I did see him in possession of a ticket, but i believe it only entitled him to entry to RAF Duxford

May the force be with you friend. The older subscribers on here might agree that it is a pity that there are not more traffic policemen instead of cameras and sleeping policeman these days.

Every one of the police officers that stopped me, when I was young and much less exprienced, responded very kindly to a bit of humble contrition and a genuine "sorry officer". Todays Gatso cameras are strictly cash and non-negotiable.

If you're lucky, and read the road ahead well, you might may spot them, as they do tend to be in places where the road is hazardous and the speed limit more important. With practice you can even spot them far beyond any Road Angel range by reading the road and you actually find yourself arriving at the camera at a legal speed (odd coincidence that!). Enjoying the performance, but knowing when to play by the rules we may live to enjoy our driving longer. Must go now - off to collect me pension.

I do recall seeing a police car on the main road outside Duxford shortly after some Briskloda members left to have a quick drive down the road and back. Was that you keeping a friendly eye on things?
